One thing I would expect from shorts marketed as cycling gear is a bit of padding. These shorts have none at all. They work well with some MTB shorts liners I already had but for the price these are commanding, I would expect them to come with. While the waist band is a bit forgiving and even has belt loops, the leg holes might not work for you if you have sprinter/power lifter legs as they have no give at all. Zips on the pockets round out the build. The fabric appears to be durable, won't have a good feel for whether they command the price for at least a year.
