Received a used cooler
This rating is for REI and not the cooler it self. I’ve been an REI member for many years. I read a few reviews about customers buying a new item but receiving used gear from online orders. I guess it was our turn to receive a used item. The box already looked liked it was as a few years old. Once I opened it you could tell right away that the cooler was used. The plastic bag had holes from what appeared to be chewed up by a dog. I say dog for the reason of multiple short brown course hairs on the outside and inside of the dusty cooler. I’m extremely disappointed that REI would resell a cooler that was obviously used. So buyer beware. Grateful of REI’s return policy. When I brought it to the store for a refund the employee initially seemed to question my reasoning. Their expression changed once they looked at the purchase date and opened up the box.

awesome fridge
Yes , I recommend this product
Love not having to get ice and drain the water . This fridge keeps things cold and in below freezing weather keeps my water and soda from freezing. I love having the option of DC power or AC. Really can’t say enough good things about it . I use it mainly while traveling so I have food,drinks,and creamer in it and run it on a Jackery power when the car is not on. I recommend this fridge to all.
