Great lightweight shorts!

These are my absolute favorite pair of shorts for backpacking! They are durable, comfortable, lightweight, soft, and breathable! I can wear them for days on trail without chaffing or having them smell bad. I have taken them on multiple backpacking trips in different countries and they are still as good as new.

Do it all Shorts

I love these shorts! I wear them for both running and hiking. They are lightweight and minimalist. They have a pocket that fits a phone. The high waist is perfect, and so is the length! I find they make my legs look great, and I love that ;)

Fit + fix'ns

The fit on these is perfect. It's so comfortable it surprises me that it stays in place while running, hiking and bopping around town. The sneaky stash pocket is perfect for a card or key and the drawstring gives you the extra piece of mind that it wont pull your shorts down. They are light and dry fast as well - either from sweat, rain or dogs shaking on me after they've gone swimming. One thing to note is that the yellow front is a bit see-through - you can see the tag before you cut it out, but you can't see what color underwear you're wearing. It doesn't bother me, but it may bother others. I sized up on this as I have big theighs and I didn't want it to be tight, but I could have stayed true to size without issue.

first impressions

Really comfortable, the waistband is perfect for folding over if you prefer to have the drawstrings out. I ordered the forage/spring colour and the sprint (yellow) is quite see-through. It's not horrible and I don't mind as they are loose on me, so only when I'm sitting I can see the tag text through the material, but this may be uncomfortable for others personal preferences. Excited to get them out on an adventure, but so far excellent chilling and dog strolling shorts :)

Perfect Running Short!

I have worn this short in conditions ranging from 10 degrees and rain to 30 degrees and exposed sun and this short was perfect for both! Quick drying and super light weight I barely notice they are there. There is a small stash pocket at the side which I wouldn't use for anything heavier than a car key. The pocket isn't tight to the body so whatever is in there will bounce a bit. Otherwise though I can't think of anything else I would change in this short!

Did not seem like a 5" short

They definitely could be a 5 star review if you are young and/or you prefer your shorts on the shorter size. But being 65 and a trail runner I was looking for a longer short and the 5" seemed to fit like my 3-1/2" shorts. I did love the fabric and the fit, just not long enough for me in my old age. I'm also only 5'1" tall so I know it was not that my legs are long. But if you are young or have incredible legs I would recommend them.

Not just for women!

Trail running is my main hobby, so I like to have a few go to items that I can rely on when the inspiration to run hits. I tried on the men's Norvan 5" shorts and felt like they were a little too tapered in the leg, so a store product guide suggested that I try on the women's instead. They are a bit more flowy in the leg and have the zipper pocket on the right side of the shorts rather than in the back like the men's version. I fell in love with these shorts instantly and bought two pairs. These are the only shorts I run in. They've seen hundred and hundreds of miles in various conditions, stood up to tumbled in the dirt, keys in the pocket, sweat, dozens of washes and they've held up perfectly. I've had zero irritation from the waist band and no tears in the fabric so far. I'm always hyping these up to my male friends and telling them that they need to get a pair!

Best running shorts!

This is probably me new favorite pair of shorts to run in! I love the length and the light/airy material is so comfortable and haven't experienced any chafing in them yet. I love the huge side zipper pocket in the shorts better than one that's usually in the back. I can fit my keys, wallet, or phone in there. Super durable material and the zipper pocket is very low profile.

Amazing shorts with the perfect fit in length and

Bought this not long ago at all and what I will say is- I’m usually a size 4 and I ordered a 4 . After trying on I realized I needed a size 2 ( which I never am) . Good thing this smart cookie got the tag snagged on my ripped jean shorts and now, can’t exchange the size sadly ( I think?) so I’d recommend a size down probably!

Good for the right activity

Purchased these short back in March 2024. They are great for shorter activities (day hikes, runs etc). I then took them as my only shorts on the PCT and after a few days of constant wear, the inside seams did start to rub/irritate my inner thigh badly.
