Great pants/poor sizing...unfortunately!
I bought 4 pairs of these for 2 sons-in-laws, one son and one husband, anticipating their use for Christmas gifts. Unfortunately the sizing description online, as denoted by conversion of EU sizes to US sizes, was inaccurate. For instance, a 44 EU was described as being equal to a US 29.9" waist, and a 46EU equivalent to a 31.5" waist. So I ordered one size 44 (son-in-law with 30" waist) and three size 46 for the rest of the guys (they all take a 32). When the pants came in, the actual size tags on the pants denoted a 44EU was a US 28", and the 46EU was a 30" so I can only keep one 30" pair...the rest must be returned. (To be sure, I actually had my husband try on the 46EU but they were too small)

I’ve been on a quest to find a short that can cover 99% of my needs. So far I’ve felt great wearing them on bikepacking trip, trail riding, walking my kids to the playground and going on summer days. I’m a fan of the zipper pockets and don’t miss the rear pockets at all. Wife said they look sleek too!
Quality shorts, with amazing features. Love the fit. I also love the extra ventilation that the mesh pockets afford. The loop on the waistband that you can hang hats or keys or other equipment on is a nice added touch. I do wish the elastic in the back of shorts would give more. It doesn’t seem to stretch that much and the fit is a little too stiff for my level of movement. More colors to pick from would be nice as well. Really impressed by these shorts
