Hate the new version, so wrinkly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design of the Canyonlands fleeces are much thinner than the previous version and they no longer have thumbholes. I can live without the thumbholes (although I do prefer them), but the new fabric is so thin that it wrinkles so incredibly easily (I suspect from wearing a seatbelt-- the wrinkles were most prominent across my chest). I've used these fleeces for several years while traveling but it became wasted space in my suitcase because it looked so sloppy-- wrinkle release spray wasn't making a dent. It seems like the new version is meant for layering under something and not to be worn alone. And yeah, the new zipper is tiny and flimsy. The previous version was pretty much perfect, please bring it back!

The BEST, most comfortable full-zip hoodie yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a hiking guide in the Berkshires, I am in LOVE with this hoodie. It's soft, lightweight, yet warm, and doesn't weigh me down on the trails. The fit is one of the best I've ever had. It's tight yet loose in all the right places. I have a petite frame up top and often have a hard time finding adult sized clothing that looks flattering on me, so this was a huge win! I'm 5'2 and bought an XS. Although it is not sweat wicking material, I like the versatility of this hoodie. I am able to bring it out on the trails, wear it to the gym, or just bum around in it around the house, making it my everyday go-to.

They changed the features, made it worse for the same price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this hoodie and the full zip version! I bought several different colors and even doubles for when one goes the wash. I was thinking that this was going to be my go-to favorite hoodie and was looking forward to new colors, but I can no longer do so. They got rid of two design features that set this one apart--raglan sleeves (the diagonal seam instead of vertical where the sleeve meets the main body) and longer sleeves with the built-in thumb hole. I see they kept the price the same with a worse design with less features! Fantastic. What were the designers thinking? If they change it back in the next season, I will update my review, but doubt they will take customer suggestions seriously. Prove me wrong.

Discolored and seams came loose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this product when I bought it but after having it, I realized that the material is a lot cheaper than the first northface hoodie that I purchased. It holds in all of the dirt and no matter how much I wash it, the dirt doesn't come out. It makes it very hard to actually use this hoodie for anything recreational. I only wear it around the house and it looks dingy. Plus, the seams on the arm have come loose. It's sad that material is being made cheaper yet the prices continue to go up.

Bring back the old style Canyonlands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know when the design for Canyonlands Hoodie Full Zip Jacket and the non hooded full zip jacket changed, but the previous versions are superior. I own several of the old style and thought I would give this year's updated version a chance but I prefer wearing my older ones to this and will not recommend or buy the newer version again. I do not like the updated cuffs. I miss the thumb holes and the old style cuffs. They looked nicer. The elasticated cuffs and waist of the new style feels and looks less polished and way more casual and cheap. I do not like the new zippers, they feel cheaper but so far have caused no issues. Thank goodness you kept the zippered pockets. Please go back to the old designs for the hooded and non hooded Canyonlands jackets. Those were my favorite jacket layer of all time. I'm so sad they are gone but hopefully not forever gone.

I absolutely love this jacket and I would buy it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite jacket! I love this jacket because it is very lightweight, it is not too hot but keeps me warm on casual adventures. I live in FL and this works great in the air conditioning and on cool nights. It is very comfortable, true to size and does not feel tight anywhere. High quality zipper always a plus! It is a go to jacket that has a soft lining and just pain feels super good to wear!

Cheaply made. Used to be my favorite jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had two of these jackets and they were my favorite winter walking jacket. Just the right weight. When one came to an untimely end thanks to the dog I re-ordered. The jacket I got is lighter weight, cheaply made (sooo cheaply made), cheap zipper, no thumb holes, cheap seams, thin fabric shorter than it used to be. It is so poorly made that it makes me question the quality of the entire north face brand.

I would buy this again and again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this hoodie in gray for a couple of years and decided to purchase the blue because I love it so much. It's a thin but warm layer that packs well; it doesn't wrinkle or pill. I wear it alone for hiking or layered under a jacket when the temps drop to freezing. It's good for the trail or city. Years later the gray looks as good as my newly purchased blue hoodie. It's a great value for the price.

Poor fit (I guess I'm too tall?)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a favorite NF item bought 10 years ago. Unfortunately, this looks great on the model, but I wish it was a bit longer in the arms and torso and had monkey thumbs (to be fair I knew it didn't when I bought it, but it'd make the item way more exciting!). It is well made, it just feels a bit weird size-wise. I bought the same size as my other one, but it is a totally different fit.
