Water bladders may leave an electrolyte stain after initial use, and this stain is permanent. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully consider purchasing a water bladder before making a decision.
Good vest for trail runs where you need that extra bit of water and gear. Very customizable for carrying your goods. Front cords can be relocated and gear straps removed (top ones can be hidden away). It's pretty light and the wrap around pockets big enough. You can dump stuff in the main pocket without removing with practice. I don't think an extra clisure to it is necessary, unless you over pack it, maybe add a safety pin if you're afraid. You've got a zipper pocket and a snug pocket under the front circumference pockets. There's also a whistle in the top shoulder pocket. Orange is great to be seen on trail or on the road. I never got to fit the helmet as nice as in the pictures, wonder how they managed. The material feels a bit too rough to have direct on the skin and seems to take a while to dry.
Enjoy the orange. Conical bottles fit well but definitely some bounce when full. The upper portion that touches my neck is quite harsh and has caused irritation after two runs. Lots of slick storage and room for a longer days worth of goods. Maybe these vests just don’t fit me but I thought it’d be softer.
This is the second year I purchased a Norman vest and yet again it has become apart of all of my long-runs. Make sure you get the right size because it can get really snug if you have bored shoulders but it is never uncomfortable. Also love that it comes with new hydroflask water bottles. Very clutch.
This is my first hydration vest and I must say that I am impressed. Out of the bag I wore it on a quick 5 miles run and it felt great, like I was not wearing anything. Like all Arc’teryx products, it looks very well made and durable. Maybe I’ll update my review after more miles.
This is a great vest. I’m a 44 chest and the large fits perfectly. It would be nice to be able to purchase a separate flask to stash in the back on longer runs, which I can’t seem to find on the website though.
I loved the fit of this vest. It didn’t move around or shift on me when it was full or less full. In the summer, I found it very breathable. The material is very comfortable.
A must have for 10+ mile runs it has been a game changer no more handheld bottles
