This is the last time I will order from North Face again. I am moving on to a retailer who actually has customer service. If you order online and use coupons/rewards, note that NF absolutely DOES NOT do online exchanges. If you get the wrong size/color, you are out of luck. I also tried to return at a store, nope - they will not take online returns in the store. Be absolutely sure you are ordering the right size/color if you proceed online. Not to mention, I've had several Denali jackets in the past, the quality now is extremely sub par. Very cheap material, feels like a plastic bag.
The Perfect Jacket - Worth the Wait!
I've been eyeing this jacket for years, but for one reason or another, I kept putting off buying it. When they finally brought back the style, I knew I couldn't miss my chance this time-and I'm so glad I didn't! This jacket is everything I hoped it would be and more. It's warm and incredibly comfortable without feeling bulky, which is a rare combination. It moves with you, doesn't feel heavy, and layers beautifully if needed. Whether I'm running errands or heading out for a walk in chilly weather, it's become my go-to. The design is timeless yet stylish, so I know it will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. If you've been debating getting this jacket like I did, stop hesitating-you won't regret it!
Only one problem
I have purchased this jacket 4 times in 4 colors. I recently bought the white (which I love). I went to come back a few weeks later to order the black, and to my surprise, the jacket looked different. I have it in white, periwinkle, deep purple and pink and all those colors have a slightly longer back side. I went to purchase the black and it no longer is being sold with the longer backside. Im not saying this is a big deal, but I wanted that longer backside, i think it looks way better on my figure. I'll wait a few more weeks to see if you release it. If not i guess i'm done with the denali's :( The jackets i've already purchased are fantastic, but also size down. I usually am a large but i could fit into the small.
Poor quality, not worth the money
This version of the Denali is awful quality for the price and a big disappointment overall. I was hoping to use this as a fall/early winter jacket like I did with my old Denali back in college, but that simply wasn't an option, with how cheap and thin the fleece was and did nothing to keep the chill out or keep the warmth in. I had hesitated to replace my old Denali based on the price tag but decided to take the leap because I thought the quality of the jacket would be worth it. Clearly not.
Love the jacket, but definitely size down
I actually purchased this jacket in 2023 in the periwinkle color and although I love the jacket itself, I totally didn't pay attention to the reviews about sizing down. I am a larger female with a larger chest and so I normally wear xxl-3xl. I ordered 3xl, as I did gain a significant amount of weight. However, it is wayyyyyyyyyy too big. I could've gotten away with a xxl or even an XL. So, long story short: make sure you size down at least 1 size from your normal jacket size!
Wish it had the drawstring at the bottom!
I've wanted one of these jackets for a while because I like the idea of the hood! When I ordered it in a small, I got it and thought I would be able to adjust it in from the bottom. Little did I realize that the draw string is now located in the middle of the jacket. This is not exactly fashionable when you are an athlete who needs more space through out the jacket and less space by the waist line. Just a different feature on this jacket that I didn't realize!
This is my FAVORITE jacket of all time.
This will be my 6th North Face hooded Denali jackets. I have them in all colors because it is the only jacket that I like and that I prefer to wear year round. I bought the black one this year because I had to wear it on Halloween to hand out candy to kids at work and I had to stand outside for 3 hours to do that. So I wanted to keep warm but I didn't want my costume to be altered at all. I love this jacket just like I love all of the other ones.
Best fleece jacket ever!! There are no comparisons.
These are my all-time favorite jackets. This specific design with the hood will be my 5th different color. I have been regularly buying them myself or asking for them for Christmas gifts. I wear every single one of them still on a regular basis. This style is just so warm and protects me from the rain and wind. I just love these jackets and I always get super excited when there is a new color that comes out that I haven't seen or bought before.
This is my 3rd Denali hoodie!
I picked up the first one at a Goodwill for cheap & wore it out after 10 years (you read that right). I purchased the 2nd one, new, 10 years ago but it was stolen out of my car. So I'm on my 3rd Denali. Why? It's warm without being bulky. I wear it on public trans to go to work, to walk the dogs, on short hikes, shopping trips. It's my go-to jacket. I'll buy again as long as they keep making it. Please keep making it!
Stylish and Warm, but a Magnet for Pet Hair
I love the vintage style and how warm this hoodie is, but I regret spending so much on it. The material started looking worn after just a few uses, and it attracts pet hair like a magnet-especially from merino sweaters and other fabrics. While I expected and liked the sporty look, just keep in mind that pet hair will stick to it easily.
