Best backpack cooler
Love this thing! It’s been a game changer for us. Keeping the kids snacks cold during soccer tournaments and just being out and about.
So Disappointed
This is probably one of the worst coolers Yeti has ever made. I love coolers - let's be honest, you can always use them! - but this cooler, just wasn't it. First - the overall look, I love. Putting in ice, is harder than it should be for a bag, and if you disagree, you probably just love the look of this cooler. As far as how it holds ice, I am so disappointed. We went paddle boarding for 8 hours, and almost all of the ice was melted. Really hope they do a re-design on this because it truly is a perfect size, but the overall design is terrible.
Great mobile cooler option
Exactly as described. I specifically bought the M12 for the smaller volume which is perfect for my needs and comfort when hauling in/out of adventures. Check the product specs on the site to get exactly what you need. I also "prime" my coolers with ice packs before packing for the trip so the cooling keeps even longer. The loops and pouch on the outside are great for hanging and drying stuff (swimsuits, speaker, etc).
A lifesaver for traveling parents!
As a breastfeeding mom who travels for work, I’m constantly juggling logistics to protect every ounce of liquid gold. I bought the YETI 12L Hopper M12 backpack cooler hoping it would help on a long international business trip — and it absolutely over‑delivered. I packed 4 liters of frozen breastmilk, rock‑solid, along with several hard ice packs, zipped the cooler inside my checked suitcase, and crossed my fingers. From hotel freezer → airport → transatlantic flight → customs → the long drive home, the total travel time was 28 hours door‑to‑door. When I finally opened the cooler at home, I was stunned: The milk was still frozen. Not slushy. Not soft. Frozen. I could safely store it for my baby without losing a single ounce. If you’re a pumping parent who travels, this cooler is worth every penny. It gave me peace of mind, saved my hard‑earned milk, and made a stressful trip so much easier. I’ll never travel without it again while pumping.
AMAZING
Got this yeti cooler pack for an amazing price. The ice lasts for a good while especially with the yeti ice packs. Keeps the drinks super cool for my hikes and normal use. The beach is my next stop but I’m 100% it will exceed my expectations since it survived this Georgia heat!
Stop thinking and just do it
Didn’t think i needed it until i did and now it goes with me every where. 4 days of perfect temp (35°) and didn’t have to refill with ice until day 3.
