LOVE these in the longer length!
Absolutely love that Patagonia now has the 6" length option instead of just the super shortie 4"--the pockets are still amazing and hold a phone easily without dragging the shorts down, waist tie is now outside so no digging into the skin, wide waist band very comfy, don't ride up. LOVE. fairly big difference between small and medium, so if you're between sizes the medium will definitely give you more space in the best way... that small is snug but doable. Went with the medium. 5'5 130 trail ultra/lifter bod.
Not great
I like the fit and look of these shorts but I bought black and they are definitely more of a grey color. But it’s pretty clear they are not well made as they show sweat almost instantly and it’s not great. Really disappointing because they are expensive and I wouldn’t have bought them if I had known they were going to be this way.
Pattern pair runs smaller than solid black pair
The solid black pair is a smoother fabric with more stretch and has a slightly larger fit than the patterned pair. Both fit nicely and are great but be aware that the fabric and fit are slightly different. Both endless shorts fit smaller than the long endless pants. I take an xs in the long endless and need a small in the shorts. In the patterned version even a medium would work.
Perfect trail running short
I am obsessed with these shorts. They don’t have a ton of compression but they are so comfortable, more of an athletic sweat wicking material. I can wear my phone in the pocket during my run and don’t even feel it. I do normally wear a small in other brands but get an XS in these. I’ve bought three pairs of these and love that they increased the length a bit as well.
Comfy shorts but don’t stay down
I took these on 2 separate runs as a thicker thighed girlie. And they got gobbled almost immediately. Not a chance they were staying down at all. They’re cute and comfy for lounging and walks, but they were a hard no on the runs.
