Jealous I Gave This One Away
originally bought this cooler for a giveaway, and now I’m honestly jealous I didn’t keep it for myself. The quality is everything you’d expect from YETI—solid, durable, and thoughtfully designed. It’s the perfect size for day trips or tailgates, and I especially love that it includes a drain. Something so simple, yet missing from so many smaller coolers. Highly recommend this one!
Great Day Trip Cooler
Great portable cooler that keeps everything cold for a day at the beach or picnic. It kept my food cold for a 17 hour trip, I was amazed how cold everything was after all that time. I did have the Yeti thin ice with a little bit of ice. It did the job perfectly.
Great little Yeti
Perfect size. Only gripe is that i wish the lock set they supplied was built into the cooler instead of having to drill it.
Roadie 15
Cheap looking cooler compared to my roadie 24, uneven and unwelded seams in the plastic
Great quality would recommend it
Love it looks great would recommend it I would but one again
Discolored Lid
I've owned the cooler for ten days, taking it to the ballpark on the past two weekends. The Roadie 15 contained everything I needed to play a doubleheader (sports drinks, protein bars, soda for after the game). However, the upper left-hand corner of the cooler appears to have been discolored by the sun, leaving a whitish hue that contrasts with the otherwise even purple tone. I keep the cooler in the shade to prevent ice from melting, so I don't understand why the discoloration would have occurred. It's like a sunbeam was focused through the lens of a magnifying glass. As you can see from the attached photographs, the blemish could be mistaken for glare, but it's not (see closeup). I can live with the discoloration, as it adds a bit of character, but I didn't expect a blemish like this to develop after a week of ownership.
Great idea poor execution
Shoulder strap, drain plug, and easy to use latches - awesome! Esp the handle on the shoulder strap for hand carrying. But this things shape is awful. A large yeti ice doesn’t lay flat on the bottom, a real miss. Want to stand your yeti ice up and put beers on each side of it? Think again doesn’t fit like this either. One medium ice and a few cans is best you can hope for. If you don’t mind going back to real ice for your small cooler needs, it’s probably fine. I’ll stick to my og roadie, flip 12 or 18 all of which work with a yeti ice like they were made for each other (shouldn’t they all be?)
Small But Mighty: The Ultimate Mini Cooler
Perfect daily lunch box. As a fiber optic splicer, I’m out all day and need something that can hold my lunch and any snacks and this baby does it. Keeps em cold and holds plenty. Little bit more hefty than your typical lunch box but it’s a Yeti, you know what you’re getting. Absolutely love the firefly yellow color. Match’s my safety vest.
The Yeti Roadie 15. Best cooler in its size!
I own other Yeti hard coolers and products but this Roadie 15 is too “cool” no pun intended! I’d recommend it to everyone! So if you’re reading this review you’re deciding wether to get one or not I’m telling you get one! You won’t be sorry! I’d define to buy one again without hesitation!
Roadie 13.5 before ice.
REI does a good job of listing the volume in cubic inches on the tech specs, worth noting if you account for usable space that drops down to 13.3L, being generous call it 13.5. this is fine if you need a fancy lunchbox for 2 people for 1 day. I'm just bummed because my old advertised 15L cooler was functionally more like 15.5 usable volume and a better shape so I could get 2 days from it pretty comfortably. If Yeti made a hard sided version of this just 1" wider (maybe even with no taper, *gasp*) they'd have a more usable interior shape, not measurably more weight or bulk, and they'd have over 15L of usable volume. A true roadie 15 cooler.
