Not Warm!!
As someone with Reynaud's syndrome who spends a lot of time outside in all weather, a warm pair of gloves is a must. After reading the reviews, I thought these would be perfect for daily use and short winter walks. The fit and flexibility are perfect. However, after a 30 minute walk in 34 degree weather with minimal wind, my fingers were very cold, tingly, and turning white. These gloves are not warm at all! Also, when I tried to reply to a text, I discovered that the touch screen feature does not work well at all with an iphone. I will be returning these and will continue to search for a glove with the perfect combination of warmth and flexibility.
Warm gloves but can’t use screens
Pros: warm and Nice looking gloves. Cons: Fit seems a bit small. The touch pad part of the glove doesn’t really work with screens.
Too tight, the tab to use to pull glove on is too small.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought these would be a lightweight glove for uphill skinning but they are a little warmer than expected. I first ordered my usual size of medium, but they were so challenging to put on so I exchanged for a large. These gloves are really difficult to put on. The tab at the wrist is not centered and is too short so awkward and difficult to use, especially with a gloved hand. The touchscreen doesn't work too well with the iPhone. And they are just not user friendly for taking on and off. OR, please bring back the vert gloves or offer some kind of gauntlet style lightweight backcountry glove. I need gauntlet, because I take my glove off frequently - to take photos, tighten boots, put on sunscreen etc. But if you like a tight fitting warm glove then this is for you!
Great for casual winter activities!
I was looking for a reliable pair of gloves to use for winter hiking, and these are exactly what I was looking for! They keep my hands warm, are breathable, and water resistant. They are also comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I normally wear a size medium for gloves, but decided to size up to a large based on other reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do wish the touchscreen worked a bit better, but I care more about comfortability and warmth which is exactly what these gloves provide.
Nice gloves
I knew they fit because I tried them all on, all brands and types. These fit best with a bit of a shell and decent insulation. 3 days around 35° and my hands are comfortable at the dog park.
Wow!
I don’t often write reviews, but these are the best gloves I’ve ever used. I had to buy a new pair after the dreaded loss of a single glove, and I’m honestly glad it happened. These actually keep my hands warm—I didn’t even know gloves could do this, and now I feel silly for ever settling for less. My only (very minor) wish is that the logo were a bit less visible, but if it helps others find gloves that keep their hands this warm, I can live with it. Other than that—wow.
Ket piece of kit for early season TMB.
Breathes well and kept the fingers warm in rain and snow on and early season run of the tour de Mont Blanc. Used it three or four times when crossing the high Cols and was glad to have them. Great fit and solid durability and dexterity with trekking poles etc. Not weather proof, obviously, but I would rather have the breathability for high output activities in the mountains, especially when they dry quickly.
not warm
I bought these and bought a glove liner also and my hands were very cold after 12 minutes outside at 25 degrees.
These gloves are perfect for using while snowshoeing. They kept my hands warm and dry. They have great dexterity, enabling me to adjust the bindings on my snowshoes. They are also fairly easy to put on and take off, which came in handy while I was using my camera. The gloves are a great choice for both beginners and experts.
Awesome for spring snow sports or going out on the town!
I love these gloves! They're really comfy and fit perfectly. The look is classy enough that I can wear them out on cold nights but they are the perfect thickness and rigidity for outdoor activities such as cross country skiing where I want more mobility than a typical ski glove or mitten but still want to stay warm and dry.
