Loved this bra, until it ripped
I got this bra in my stitch fix order, immediately fell in love and ordered a second. It is incredibly soft, has good support without feeling like it’s squeezing the life out of me, and seemed to be excellent quality. I have had this first bra for just five weeks, worn maybe once or twice a week, so a max of ten times. Folding up my laundry today I saw that one of the straps was ripped clean in half. I’m so sad, it is undoubtedly the most comfortable sports bra I’ve owned, but now I’m nervous to see how long the second one lasts. Hoping it was just a fluke and I can buy another to replace the ripped one soon.
Great bra - a tad larger due to stretch
I've been wanting white gear from BY for a while now. This bra is a great start. I have plenty of the racerback bras in various colors, but this one seems a little different. The fabric is still soft and buttery, and great quality and stretch, but the fit seems larger than the other bras I own. I'm 5'4, 112lbs, 32C/34B, and got a size S, just like my other bras. I think I could have gone with an XS in this white bra because of the different fabric and stretch. It still stays in place and fits nicely, but it's larger than I would have selected for this style.
Nice bra but did not work for me
This bra just isn't for me. I'll wear it to hang out at home, but that's it. I am a 36D for reference. The straps felt uncomfortable on my shoulders and around my neck after a few hours, and I had to keep pulling the bra up in front. If I went a size up, it would be too big, and a size down would be way too small. The straps felt too long, and the bra felt a tad small. Adjustable straps might help, but I'm not sure. The overall fit was just off which is a bummer. Otherwise the material felt great and the quality was as expected from other BY purchases.
Unbelievably comfortable
Do not hesitate to buy this bra. Not only is the fabric buttery soft, it's the most comfortable thing I've ever worn and really flattering too with a nice bit of cleavage! I was unsure on sizes, being a 34C/D I was worried a size small may be too tight and give those underbra rolls but that was not the case. This does not have enough support for running but is suitable for most other forms of exercise and practical to wear day to day under a t-shirt etc. Looks cute with matching cycling shorts and leggings too!
Very sadly not for me
This bra is comfortable enough for lounging around, though the straps do dig into my neck/shoulders quite harshly at times. I have a small band/large cup size (28D) and sadly while the bra covers my breasts wonderfully, it offers no support as my fuller cup doesn't allow the band to make secure contact around my ribs. Aesthetically and practically this bra is just what I want, I only wish it was made in a larger cup version for those of us who need a little extra room there!
Good basic
Low impact and comfortable bra. I bought the white in small. I wear a small in most Beyond Yoga tops. I find in Beyond Yoga, the classic colors (black, white, navy) tend to run a tad snugger than the seasonal bright colors. (I have this same bra in bright aqua in medium and it’s huge). The white color is not see through, but, like all BY tops, you still see the shape of everything underneath 😆, you might want to add a nipple cover or removable pad if wearing alone.
Very comfortable, good support
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Beyond Yoga’s space dye products. This bra fits similarly to the tank I have. I ended up returning it because I’m pregnant and it likely won’t fit much longer, but I did exchange for some of their maternity clothing. The majority of my workout clothing is beyond yoga and it holds up really well! I dry it (yikes I know you’re not supposed to) but pairs of leggings I’ve had for 6 years are still going strong! It’s soft and smooth, yet supportive!
Excellent quality and fit
Looks great, feels great on, fits perfectly. I wear a small with an athletic build at 5'8" and 129 pounds. I love all the colors. I am adding one at a time to my collection, have 6 right now. I reach into my drawer and pull one of these out when I want to feel good, have enough support, and look great (shows nicely under tees and tanks or without if you wear it solo). Definitely one of the best sports bras I have ever worn.
Not Made for Larger Chests
I wanted to love this bra, but maybe should have known from most of the models that it was not made for larger chests. I am a size 32DD, and the very thin band on the bottom of the bra did not support the bust and rolled under on itself. Love the color, love the material - just wish Beyond Yoga (and many other yoga companies) made this in D-DD+ friendly sizes. Unfortunately had to return.
Comfortable but runs small
I found this bra runs smaller than their other bras. While I fit comfortably in a small in their other styles this one is too tight and doesn’t give enough coverage. For comparison I’m a 34c, 120lbs, 5’2”. Also to note this bra does not have removable cups. Great for washing since no cups to remove but lacks coverage and support. This one is great for small chested gals or light exercise.
