Features

  • 100% polyester uppers are made with 88% recycled polyester; reengineered uppers feature a more breathable mesh construction than the first Cloudsurfer
  • Upgraded CloudTec Phase® with Helion Superfoam cushioning offers a smoother heel-to-toe transition than the previous model, creating a supremely soft sensation underfoot
  • For the softest and smoothest running sensation, the Cloudsurfer 2 is built without a Speedboard®; instead, it relies on the CloudTec Phase structural cushioning system
  • Computer-optimized outsoles are crafted using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to find the sweet spot for durable-yet-lightweight construction
  • More-durable tread is built to last with thicker outsole padding and smaller cavities
  • The updated tread geometry supports an even smoother ride

Great daily shoe for everyday wear and runs
As my first On shoe that I’ve had I have nothing but positive things to say. The shoe is well built soft but not too soft and has an amazing flow feel while running. The shoe also has a wider feel which I loved having wider feet. The only thing that I would say isn’t very accurate is if you buy the all white one “ivory” it looks much more cream than it really is it is litterally just a white shoe. Overall great shoe highly recommend even with the more pricy tag

CLOUDSQUEAKER
So I actually really love the cloudsurfers. I own about 7 pairs. There is a bit of a defect tho. When you step into a puddle or walk in the rain, they become super squeaky. And it never goes away. Every single pair I own squeaks now. Somehow water gets inside the foam or something and it’s game over.

Perfect Find!

We were out of town when we realized that my husband had left his walking shoes. Near our hotel was an REI store. Since I belong to the co-op, we decided to check it out. We moved our way to the back of the store where they have the clearance section and found these perfect pair of cloud shoes! Our adult children bragged about their On Clouds so when I saw these pair, I asked my husband to try them on. They were his size! We purchased it and he wore them to check out the city. We were out all day and his feet were comfortable. No need to break them in! They were perfect. :-)

Falling apart within 6 months

Really comfortable shoes but not durable at all. Within 6 months the sole has worn out, and the support structure behind the ankle has developed holes in both shoes. I don't even use these for running. My Asics with similar use lasted many years. Would not recommend at the 120ish dollar price point.

squeaky shoes

I own 5 pairs of On's. I bought 2 pairs of the cloud surfers. I love the colors and comfort. But the cloud surfers squeak when you walk.

Great all around shoe!

I've tried a multitude of different running shoes. None of them have worked for me. As an old fable, the princess and the pea, nothing felt right, until I tried the On Cloud Surfer 2. For sizing I feel they fit true to size, maybe a little smaller, but not much. The longest run I've done in them is a half-marathon and they felt great! Highly recommend if you're like me and nothing seemed to work for a longer distance running shoe. I can even go for walks in them after my runs!
