[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 8-8.5 in Adidas so I ordered both sizes. Really no noticeable difference in half a size so I kept them both. Although I like these I prefer the comfort of the 20’s. I have 4 pairs and would buy more if they were in stock! I find the 22’s a little suffocating at times, they really cling to your foot. Also they are the only trainers I have where I struggle to get my foot in, a minor problem but bugs me all the same.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heel cup is much more fitted this time around. It’s nice and snug on my heel, so there was less friction when running. The knit mesh upper was a great addition as well. It hugs and contours to the top of the foot, securing it from moving around too much. To my surprise, it was exceptionally breathable, while not being a thin knit at all. Also… you guessed it, the boost is amazing. There’s a layer of boost surrounding the bottom of the heel. Although it’s not a thicker boost than the previous model, the added boost material does a lot to absorb energy and provide a smoother running experience.
I used to wear the Ultraboost YEARS ago (I'm a marathoner), and I liked them! But they felt a little too soft for me. I was excited to give this new update a try and I noticed a lot of changes - the upper fits my foot a lot better. Whatever construction they changed for the female foot worked. Also, they're way more responsive. I did strides in them just yesterday at the end of an easy run and they felt solid. I also like that the base is a bit wider than some other shoes. As someone who's coming off getting ankle surgery in the fall they feel "stable" for a neutral shoe. Highly reccomend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are supposed to be all white but the plastic parts are all yellowed and look terrible. Cannot exchange- have to return and purchase a replacement pair for a higher price than I paid.
I am a size 8 and I ordered both black and magic mauve. They fit perfectly and are super comfortable. My legs aren't too wide and they are true to size. I love them. Highly recommend.
I received a defective pair. Each shoe had an ugly yellow color on them instead of the white. Not at all like pictured. Will be returning.
Because Ultaboost are my faves, I feel compelled to leave this review. The 20's were perfect, the 21s had a problem in heel/Achilles, too tight and blistered. This was such a bummer since this is THE only shoe that support my arch, hip and knee. Everyone I know who loves this shoe complained about the same issue and I guess Adidas heard- the 22 seemed to get released quickly with the issue resolved. This 22 has fixed the heel issue and is back to perfection! My body and feet thank you!(P.s. I think the other review saying odd heel/fit might be for the 21's and posted on the 22 by accident. This heel has no weird bump.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a doctor, I'm constantly on my feet attending to patients. These sneakers are extremely comfortable during a 12 hour shift. I feel like I'm walking on cushions. What I like about these sneakers are that they have an ample amount of space at the toe box which helps especially when your feet swell. I also like the way the sneaker hugs my foot especially my arch. As for running, the sneaker works well for me as a neutral runner. Living in NYC, I primarily run on cement and the boost cushioning has provided impact absorption. They have great tracking but can be a bit slippery when running during the rain.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I thought the shoes were great. They looked good and stylish and were a great colour. After an easy steady run I could feel the energy return and my legs felt great. However after another run or so the shoes caused a blister on the arch of my foot. I made sure they were fastened correctly and has suitable socks on but during a 13 mile run, a large painful blister developed and I have not been able to wear them since.
These are exactly what I've been looking for. I actually bought 2 pair! I have a bunion from wearing high heels/narrow shoes for too many years & have foot pain! We also have hard floors & I don't go barefoot often. Slippers, house shoes or my ultraboost are my new go to! I purchased a pair to wear inside my house in the light pink color! They're gorg, btw! I run races & my feet always hurt into mile 3, not a problem when I wear these, They have great heel cushion & feel great! They are more of a sock/fitted feel, but comfortable! I wear a size 9, purchased a 9 and they seem TTS. The older styles seemed to be off by a 1/2 size IMO. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new shoe!
