I wear these hats everyday

Love Swift hats and I wear them most days of the week. They're light, stylish, and functional. I've worn them to run marathons, adventures on the water, camping, casual use, pretty much anytime. My only wish is that there was a better way to secure the excess adjustment strap. My head is XL (7 1/2 hat size) and I have just enough excess strap to tuck it, but it sometimes come loose and flaps around annoyingly. Not a huge deal and probably not an issue for anyone with a smaller head. My toddler also loves this hat because it's light and comfortable for him.

Nice warm weather running/biking hat.

Not exactly what I expected but a nice hat. I had ordered another OR hat that was thicker and had a flat, bendy bill. I thought this was a warm weather version of that. Instead, this has a firmly curved bill and the hat is constructed of two overlapping pieces of material. The lower layer is mesh for breathability and the top layer, which doesn’t cover the sides, is solid for sun protection. It’s a comfortable and cool hat for active sports.

Super light weight and form fitting!

I love this cap, they are the only ones I wear! It fits my head without any wrinkling or bunching up in the back, not to mention it's super lightweight, form fitting, and when you get caught in the rain it dries super quick. My only gripe? You need one in a brown color. I have eleven swift caps all told and only one comes close to a brown color, it's more a coral, which is now getting worn and frayed, but that one is not offered any more.

Good, but sizing changed and runs way too large

Love these, been wearing them for the past 20 years. Ordered 3 new ones to replace my abused caps, and for some reason the new version runs WAY larger than the previous one. I don't really have a small head and this new version barely holds on even if adjusted to its tightest. Never had this problem before and not sure when it changed, but that's a bummer. Not sure why it did as the previous version allowed it to size way UP by loosening the strap, but sizing way down is now impossible. See the difference in my picture where both caps (new on the left and old on the right) are sized to fit my head.

I've got 20 of these hats - 50SPF

So I'm a little "folic-ly challenged" - so I've gotta keep my head covered. These OR Swift hats look cool, have 50 SPF sun protection, and are cool / my head doesn't get hot. They also hold up pretty well during wash cycles - which I do frequently. I probably 20 or more of these hats because I'm worried someday they'll stop making them.

Best all around activity hat

This hat certainly lives up to its reputation. I acquired one a year ago and it has become an integral part of my daily wear. The hat is remarkable at wicking sweat from your face - an essential feature for someone like me who tends to sweat profusely. Ensuring sweat stays away from my face is important, and this hat performs that task commendably. The ingenious design of the hat channels sweat away from the top, and the brim acts almost like a gutter, preventing any sweat from dripping down onto your face. Whether you're at the gym, hiking, working, or simply sporting it casually, this hat is excellent. I would unreservedly recommend this hat to anyone. It's a purchase you certainly won't regret.

I need one In every color

Broke this extremely comfortable hat in hiking a loop around the Linville Gorge. It was a great hike and the 5 stars say it all. Great fit, true to size, UPF protection, durable craftsmanship in a light weight hat. Looks great. What else do you need?

Very decent lightweight cap

I've been pretty happy with my OR Swift Caps. I'm on my second because I left one with a paddling friend 2 provinces away after a day on the water. I wear it kayaking, canoeing, running, hiking and just wandering about. It gets sweat stains on it, as any cap worn while I'm sweating would, but it rinses out or washes easily, and dries quickly afterward. The brim holds it's shape well despite abuse in a kayak hatch or in a pack. It stays on well in a wind, and floats when it comes off during the rolling and rescue practice during the lessons I teach. I should pick a brighter colour next time to make it a lot easier to spot floating in the water.

Fantastic Multifactional Hat

Exceptional hat. From city to mountains. I use this hat every day for work at the university, teaching field school and for adventures in the mountains. This cap is light and fast drying. It is great for commuting to work and for city errands. I use it for my daily runs and bikes, ski touring, hiking, and kayaking. It is light and sun-blocking and works great with my climbing helmet while climbing, scrambling, and belaying. Also, the adjustable strap keeps it on my head during windy summits. I used it for a couple of years and it is still fantastic. Great colors and durable materials. I also support OR products and highly recommend them to my colleagues in the field. Great hat, I hope OR will continue this product!

Love it. Very versatile and lightweight. Minor issues.

Excellent performance. Love it. Exclusive use is backpacking. The only issue is the adjustable strap when shortened for smaller sizes, is too difficult to tuck back in the pocket over itself. Doable but too fussy for my short fat fingers. Someone with arthritis in the hands would have difficulty as well. Not an issue if there is only an inch or so of the excess strap when used with larger head sizes. Over time it will work out and dangle, hitting your neck and bothering you. Not a deal-breaker as happens infrequently. A few slots in the sleeve could help thread the strap through much quicker. Perhaps two sizes S & L would solve the issue.
