The headlamp has become an essential tool for keeping my dog healthy. Because it allows me to have both hands free, I can more effectively clean Laddie's ears (to prevent ear infections), trim around his boy parts, locate hot spots under his long fur, etc. All of these things were much harder with a handheld flashlight. The headlamp has also been great for quilting. The brightness and the convenience of hands-free lighting helps me evaluate stitch quality and adjust tension when quilting on my longarm quilting system. It's also great when I've made mistakes and need to pick out stitches. I highly recommend this light.
I like having my headlamps hanging by the door so I can grab one whenever I need one. This has worked great with alkaline batteries and I can go months before needing to replace batteries. However with this product, it’s always drained when I tried using it so basically I need to charge it before every use. This might be fine for some folks but not for me. I cannot speak to how long it lasts when using it because I rarely need it for more than 20-30 minutes. On positive note it is pretty bright and you can change the beam direction quite a bit and it’s relatively light and small. However with a dead battery all those positives are useless. I would not buy again; in fact I may just return it.
I bought this a little under a year ago and it's been pretty awesome. Though I don't feel it has 2 hr runtime even when it was new. Now all of a sudden, I put it on the charger, let it charge and now the tiny red light on the power panel stays lit but my headlamp does NOTHING. Bummer. I haven't found any troubleshooting for this problem so I feel a little burnt. Except for this issue, I'd probably buy it again. I'll most likely run through other brands before I do though.
Our company’s focus is to appreciate the work plumbers do...we bought the 170 rechargeable headlamps to give as gifts and I’ve never seen a group more appreciative!! They LOVE it!! It works great since plumbers use both hands to repair, now they don’t have to worry about flashlight placement! Rave reviews from our Ohio plumbers at Wilson, RT Hampton, Whistler, and Roto Rooter just to name a few!!! Great gift suggestion, thank you Nite Ize!!!
Amazing product. Helped alot with my annual company inventory. But what I really enjoyed was the copy describing the product and it's features. Great writing.
As a company, we own many lights and always appreciate the way these lights are designed and last. Excellent light.
Purchased this light to have some additional lighting for my Go-Ped scooter works great, USB rechargeable!
The product never worked. I charged it for 2 days and still couldn’t get it to work.
Once again the right lumens and the correct spectrum light
