I’m hard on picking pants. I’m needy, I guess. These tick all of my boxes. Well, as close as i have come. Super lightweight. Don’t lose their shape after a long day or even multiple wears - only a slight give. Love the built in belt. Didn’t think I would use the front cargo pockets but I actually prefer them to the standard side cargo pockets. Quick drying. Perfect amount of give. The only thing that would send these to to the moon would be an ankle cinch feature. Additional vents couldn’t hurt but not super needed since these breathe really well.

Ripped open at the seam in 6 months!

I wanted to like these pants. They were comfortable, had the right kinds of pockets, and so on. But 6 months in, they have a gaping hole right below the fly where the seam has come apart. I wear this for everyday casual use, not rough hiking or exercise. This has never happened to me with any pants, ever, regardless of use. And at this price point? Come on, Royal Robbins, this is pathetic. Hopefully, REI will take them back for store credit.

Purchased these for my Dad and he can't stop raving about them. He's worn them hiking and golfing and loves the stretch and comfort that they offer during outdoor activity. Buying him another pair for Christmas.
