A nice surprise

I was leery about buying cycling shorts at this price point, but decided to take he chance. While these aren't the best cycling shorts around, they are likely the best cycling shorts at this price! I like that they come down mid-thigh (better for hot days) and are comfortable. The gel chamois is quite good, although these probably won't be the shorts I pick for my longest rides. I found the fabric to be a bit slippery on my saddle. At first, this felt "wrong." As I rode, I got used to it and grew to see it it as a real benefit. Not too slippery (still able to maintain my position on the seat), but slippery enough to easily shift my position (to avoid any "extended riding" soreness.
