Well-featured and well-meaning pouch
Jenn
After two years of use, I can say this pouch is helpful when in certain situations best. I re-read thru the product pictures that describe the pouch and agree there are well-meaning features. I do like this pouch but have had to supplement with other brands for these reasons. Use cases for designers: -Fabric makes this pouch heavy for minimal travel users. While durable and protective, I find myself only using for staycations where I don’t have a carry on weight limit. When the pouch is sat open on a counter it’s very handy to access items. Depending on what’s inside the pouch or taken out, the weight distribution can cause the pouch to roll. Wonder if a smidge thinner fabric or a flatter base help? -Hook doesn’t always hang-when the pouch is heavier (fully packed, every pocket in use with 3oz liquids or small items like cotton or bandaids, or the hotel towel bar is a certain shape/width, the “c” curvature of the hook just doesn’t work or needs maybe a deeper hook I end up using my pouch on a towel on a counter. I’ve also tried using a separate hook that connects to the grab handle that then secures the hang, but bringing along an extra hanger is not ideal. This however works so my pouch doesn’t fall in the shower area. -The outer toothbrush space is shallow. As a mom, I carry two toothbrushes. I like that they can both fit (the manual kind), but when hanging and a user opens the section, the angle can cause a brush to fall out. -The pockets with small holes are helpful for smaller items like bobby pins, bundled cotton swabs or dental floss, but some items like these pins or nail clippers tend to get caught in the holes on removal. Consider perhaps a smaller hole? -Going thru TSA or other countries’ security means all my items are in a plastic quart bag. Then I transfer them to this pouch for use in country and then back out when going to the airport. I find myself reaching for the other REI pouch choices that enable elimination of that extra step, even if this pouch is helpful for organization. Overall this bag works for some use cases (spa or gym showering, counter top use, and staycation travel where weight and security isn’t an issue). It’s aesthetic and has many pockets in the right places. What’s hard to justify is use while traveling, but a solid three stars with some considerations. :)

Pockets Galore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toiletry bag is amazing! It is the perfect size for travel. The moisture resistant fabric and zippers will help protect your clothes protected from a shampoo or shaving cream leak. The pockets, zippers and pouches on this bag were created with convenience and organization in mind. It has two separate long pockets for a tooth brush or razor. It has seven different pouches for organization and three different sections for bulk organization. It has a cleverly designed hook that will hang from a door knob, towel bar or can even be lipped onto a countertop. This is a great bag and you will love it's look and features.

Excellent Wash Pouch

Never have I ever found such a compact, useful, and well made travel pouch for all things toiletries. I was able to fit brushes, combs, toothpaste, a toothbrush, deodorant, and random little items in this pouch with ease. Although I recommend stuffing fewer items in this pouch for packing purposes, I managed to only need the small pouch rather than the more cumbersome large wash pouch.

Brilliant pouch to hold all personal toiletries

I recently bought this wash pouch from Peak Design because I thought it's better to organise all my toiletries for travel instead of dumping them in a bag. It's incredibly well designed and it has served my purpose very well. I can fit everything I need: sun screen, face moisturiser, electric toothbrush, hair wax, electric shaver, and even extra tooth brush heads. It's a brilliant and handy pouch.

Hands Down the Best Dopp Kit You Will Find!!

I've been wanting to purchase this wash pouch for some time now and finally did! If you are on the fence about it, just do it! You will not be disappointed! I've been on the search for a perfect Dopp kit for a while now and this is about as perfect as you can get. Things I was looking for were obviously fitting everything that I would be taking, organization, and not taking up too much space in my bag. This wash pouch checks all those boxes. You can watch videos about where everything can go but the 2 spots that really shined are the magnetic closure for your razor and the spot where I put my manscaped electric razor. If you have that it fits perfectly and is very satisfying. I'm not one to buy travel size toiletries so in my pictures you can see everything I fit in to this pouch and didn't use all the spots provided. Below I will list everything I fit. I would highly recommend purchasing this! It will likely be the last one you buy. Items in Large Wash Pouch: 1. Full Size electric toothbrush in case 2. Hair Gel 3. Full size Deodorant 4. 3 Musk and Hustle Cologne Pens 5. Fingernail Clipper Kit 6. Manscaped Electric Razor 7. Brush 8. Matador Soap Bag 9. Razor 10. Q-Tips 11. Bandaids 12. Flossers 13. Toothpaste

My best travel companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this wash pouch. It has ample space for all the stuff I need to use when I'm traveling. One of my favorite features is the toothbrush holder spot. I usually just bring my toothbrush in a plastic bag which doesn't seem super sanitary and is a waste of plastic. And there are 2 spots that can be used for toothbrushes, so it's great for my husband and me to use together. This wash pouch is super easy to wash out afterwards so I can get out any spills that might have happened during travel. Love it!

Here is a small quirk that I wish PD "fixes" If you line up the Wash Pouch beside the Tech Pouch as shown in the pics, One opens from the left while the other opens from the right. Why not simply make all pouches open from the same side? PD emphasizes so much on modularity, cubic units, organization, SlimLink etc.. Maybe have the pouches open from the same side all across the board/ product lines? Currently, I have to arrange one of the pouches backward.

Almost Perfect

When I say I tried around a dozen toiletry bags, I mean it! I was looking for organization but also a fairly compact container. This was the closest to fitting the bill of what I needed, and I can fit everything with no room to spare outside of shower necessities. I took off a star because if you have bottles and need to fit other items in the open space, it’s hard or impossible to close. If you are going to have the bottle slots filled, everything has to pretty much be in an organizing pocket or be flat/very small. I also feel like the hook is a bit odd for me. I’d like to see it be longer or hang the bag in a way it doesn’t hang sideways.

Compact Beauty Case

I've had multiple cosmetic travel cases over decades...the last one was an expensive TUMI. However although I could stuff in everything I considered "essential" it was always awkward to use. I had to dig around and bottles were not upright. On a whim I transferred everything in my cosmetic travel case into my sons Peak Design Wash Pouch. I was surprised that EVERYTHING fit, plus not only was it well organized, everything was easily accessible and it took a very small footprint (which is important as counter space is generally sparse or non existent). I immediately purchase a wash pouch for myself and haven't looked back. I love this thing!

Best Dopp Bag I Own

I've got a lot of Dopp bags. Some from brand names, some not; some canvas, some nylon, some leather, some TSA-approved plastic. But this is the one I keep handy and always bring with me. All Dopp bags hold stuff, this one holds stuff in place, making it quicker and easier to use, and the design allows for bulky stuff that other organization-focused Dopp bags can't accommodate. The ability for it to open as much as it does means lots of light gets in for finding things, and I can get my stuff out without scraping my knuckles on the zipper--which is good when I've already scraped up my knuckles someplace else and would like them to heal up.

Awesome pouch!

I bought this because I do a lot of house sitting, so I need all my grooming supplies because I’m still going to work every day. This is the perfect bag. It will fit all your lotions, shaving stuff, etc and keep everything organized. (I do have a separate bag for my shower stuff but I think I could make it fit if I wanted to) A bit too big to take on a plane if I was doing carry-on only. But I love being able to keep everything in one bag and just grab it and go. I got one for my dad to replace his decades old pouch and he loves it too! And you can tell by the quality that neither of us will need to buy another bag in a very long time.
