Disclosure: I received NEMO Aurora Highrise 6P Tent in exchange for an honest review.
Wow, I've never had such a large camping tent. NEMO Aurora Highrise 6P Tent is listed for 6 people, but I would say it would be great for three people, four people max, or maybe for glamping-style camping for a couple. Then you will have space for a large comfortable bed and the seating area inside for a candlelit dinner (electric, please).
The tent comes in a relatively small duffle bag, easy to put into the car. The bag contains everything for pitching the tent: inner tent, fly, poles, stakes and extra guylines.
I was able to pitch this tent alone without too many problems, but two people would be better. First you spread the inner tent on the ground. Stake four corners first, as it is a big tent and a strong wind can create problems. Then assemble four poles, two long ones for the central cross and two short ones for the entrances. Long ones go inside the sleeves and are inserted into 4 corner loops. Then you attach hooks along the poles, insert short poles on both sides into provided loops and you have a free standing tent which can be lifted and repositioned if needed. Attaching the fly without any assistance was a bit difficult but possible. It is locked on four corners with buckles and staked at the front and back doors. That creates two large vestibules on both sides. Front door with two zippers can be used as a canopy or rolled up and tucked at the top. I use all available guylines and stake points for stability. This tent is very large and tall and will be affected by a strong wind. Included stakes are very heavy nail types, so I replaced it with regular lightweight tent stakes. When fully erected it creates quite an impressive image.
Inner tent has mesh doors and windows to provide good airflow and protect from bugs. Steep side walls create a lot of space. I liked that the door can be opened all the way around and rolled up and stashed in an attached pocket at the bottom. Front door is big enough to bring inside any kind of equipment including a large air bed. The floor is 150D PU Polyester. Feels very solid. I am not sure about printed floor fabric, as it can be difficult to find something small dropped on the floor. There are gear pockets for storing small items. Blue wall fabric creates pleasant bluish light inside. I am 6 ft tall and I can stand in the center with a good 5 inches of space above me. There is a pocket in the ceiling for the headlight.
Taking down the tent is done in reverse order and it fits easily into the provided duffle bag. Nemo gives a lifetime warranty for its products.

Great tent layout, poor performance

I was really excited about this tent. I have 3 kids and we do a ton of camping. Square footage and general layout of this tent are perfect. Tons of internal storage and great ventilation. Easily fits 2 full size air mattresses with room to spare. The first tent I bought, upon opening I noticed the paracord was severed in one set of poles. The interior of each pole at the connection point is incredibly sharp. I think this might be a design flaw. I was determined to give this tent a go, so swapped for new poles (still had sharp edges and could already see signs of wearing on the paracord). We used this tent for 6 nights and enjoyed it. We encountered a one windy day (thunderstorms and <25 mph) and our tent could not handle the elements. Poles snapped at midpoint of sections resulting in sharp edges that tore thru our tent, ripping the top apart and puncturing the fly in several spots. While the tent and fly itself are awesome, I think the poles need to be built more solidly and the inside edges filed. Nemo please check out the pole design!!!!

Great Glamping Tent
We have had this tent for a couple years now and absolutely love it. We call this one ‘Big Blue’. It is very easy to setup and tear down, well ventilated and incredibly spacious. It is easy for adults to stand up in and fits our queen size inflatable mattress with plenty of room left. We are in Arizona so rain is not the same concern it might be for others, but it held up well in the rains we have experienced. We bought a little beach mat that folds up small and we use it on the floors to keep them clean.
This is a great glamping tent and I look forward to many more years of enjoyment from this.

Second home wherever you are.

Plenty of space for 2 to spread out with gear but could work for 4 people with some organization and use of the vestibules. Well thought out pockets inside especially the mesh ones at eye level for sunglasses and smaller gear items you need to grab throughout the day. Plenty of hanging loops inside as well as the headlamp pocket with diffuser that worked well. Vestibules are large enough to store plenty of gear and rain fly zippers/Velcro feel very secure once pitched. No problem getting the entire thing back in it’s bag like some tents struggle with. The pattern on the floor makes the inside feel more interesting than the average monotone color you get with others and adds quite the vibe when combined with the blue cast light filtered through the rain fly during the day. Loved the end windows that can come down even with the fly fully pitched. Overall love it and only wish it weighed less so i could pack it in farther for more trips.

Solid in All Areas Except One- so far

The tent is very roomy as advertised. It was easy for me to set up the main tent, I needed a little help getting the rainfly over the tent. Overnight temperatures were about 35 F, with the windows closed and doors zipped up I still didn't get any condensation on the inside of the tent (2 adults sleeping inside). Zippers were easy to work. The interior pockets were handy but unremarkable. In my opinion surprisingly light for the amount of fabric that you get overall. I bought the footprint as well, it's a tight fit in the bag that requires a bit of purposeful folding technique and bit of body weight.
My tent came with 10 stakes which was 2 less than I needed for all tent tie-downs plus the rainfly lines. Also would have been nice to have a small opening where I could have run an extension chord into the tent if needed.
Lastly, I couldn't figure out how to keep the rain fly above the windows from flapping in a light breeze. I will try to attach a picture of how the rainfly above the side windows and below the NEMO emblem could not get as tight as shown on the website. Mine was loose which made for a noisy flag-like sound even in a light breeze. I tried tightening all of the tie-downs and rainfly lines but nothing tightened this section. If I'm doing something wrong here please let me know. I saw other reviews with pics where this same section was loose like mine. If this is fixable then I may another star.

Good design, cheap material
Used tent twice. Second time, while setting up, pole went thru the cover. With a minor wind incident, the cover ripped across. Material used is not made of rip-stop nylon which is expected on good quality tents. We have a 3p Marmot tent for years, blown all over and still intact.

Quick, Easy, Tall and Breezy
Upgraded from my backpacking tent, wanted standing height, and got a beast I can jump around in.
Pros: quick set up, tall, big doors, patterned floor, and windows for a breeze
Cons: steep vestibule sides make opening the door a bit awkward, limited vertical storage (four small pockets in the corner and two small hanging spots beneath the doors)
Overall, it was certainly an upgrade. Spent 6 nights in it last week and loved getting to sit up and hang out in my tent. The nightlight lamp pocket is genius as always!
I look forward to the many adventures to be had comfortably in this cool tent!

Blue, Cute, Cozy, Clever, Sturdy, Perfect!

Fabulous tent! Best we’ve ever owned and have been through a number of them. Zippers held up and tent maintained cozy integrity in 60 mph winds in Central Oregon near Condon. Bugs stayed out. Pockets, windows, lantern hangar, all were user friendly in easy to utilize places. Intuitive and sturdy construction, cheery color, cheery floor, camped in a group of 13 people and our tent was the envy of the group.

Stylish 3 season tent, very spacious!
Great 3 season tent. I love the way it looks, it has fantastic ventilation and the massive doors are awesome. Putting it together alone in 15 minutes or so isn't hard after the first time or two and the rain fly provides good storage in the back and coverage in the front (when closed). The materials seem to be high quality and being 6' 1" myself the peak height of the tent is great for me. The tent walls are fairly steep so it maximizes the storage inside. You can fit two very large cots or air mattresses inside very easily and comfortably. So far I've only used it a few times but I've enjoyed it greatly and have no regrets about purchasing this tent.

A tent with plenty of room to spread out
The NEMO Aurora Highrise 6P tent is a spacious and durable tent for all your car camping adventures. The tent is easy to set up for anyone who is familiar with setting up tents. The four poles are easy to assemble and place. The tent is as tall as advertised, no need to crawl around or over your tentmates. Two doors make for a range of options for getting in and out. The dual vestibules provide ample storage outside the tent. The ventilation is excellent with added windows on two sites that can allow for a cross breeze on warm nights but also be closed quickly if rain approaches. A great addition to your car camping gear, especially for larger families or if you just want some extra space.
