Smooth seams and cozy dreams
I wore this product around northern California during the late-fall/early winter. Temperatures ranged from 34 - 50 degrees F. At temperatures above 45 deg F, the shirt was comfortable and warm enough to wear on it's own without any additional layers. The thermal crew top was sufficiently thick to block mild winds and I'd consider it a medium-weight base layer that certainly can be worn on its own. During hiking it kept me warm in the beginning and did well to wick moisture away as the hike progressed. Fit and finish are second to none. All the seams (both inside and out) are smooth and not distracting. The seam locations are located on the shirt to avoid uncomfortable rubbing (see the attached photos showing the smooth seams and seam locations). I'm 6'-0", 200 lbs and I wore a large. It fit perfectly and was stretchy enough to fit to body. I've worn and washed this shirt no less than a dozen times and haven't seen any degradation in quality, fit, or insulating abilities. This is a high quality shirt fit for hiking or relaxing in the lodge at your local national park. I will be purchasing more of these shirts.
Bad material and fits weird, great thermal tho!
This is a very warm crew top, but sadly 1) fits weird: due to tight forearms and chest, but has a very baggy waist and upper arms (at least on me) 2) is an all synthetic material that feels like cheap fake silk that catches on Velcro way too easily (not the ideal material if you have bib pants with Velcro straps) - The color is nice, and has really great thermo regulation, but I would not recommend this over other thermals on the market due to the material feel and fit.
Cozy, thick thermal!
This top is perfect for lounging or short hikes/walks. I find it extremely comfortable for everyday wear. It washes well and seems incredibly well made. I really like that it’s a little bit thicker than your average long sleeve shirt, but thinner than a typical sweatshirt. I love a looser fit so I ordered a larger size, but the material feels pretty stretchy so I do believe it would fit true to size. The color is excellent too!
Great Base and Mid-Layer
I was given this item in exchange for my honest feedback, and I’m very pleased that I was! I wasn’t quite sure initially how to use this item to begin with since it’s a tad heavier than a base layer, but I’ve found it to be far more useful than I imagined! The material is SO soft without having the scratchy/synthetic texture of most base layers which is a huge plus. I have worn this layer both direct against the skin and as a secondary layer and it’s been fantastic for both! Sleek and tailored enough to be worn on its own, this is a super versatile piece that provides more warmth than it would seem for the weight. I live and ski in Montana so much of my winter outdoor activities are well below freezing and often (like today) below zero and this extra layer cuts the bite on the lift but provides enough breathability. Over all, I’m stoked on this piece and see it becoming a regular part of my rotation for winter layers! I would recommend to anyone!
Great overall but would like an inch or 2 longer
This is a really nice layer for a cold day. Extremely soft, durable, and comfortable. My only issue had to do with the length. Using it as a layer I typically tuck those in and have a shirt or jacket over to, but it was difficult to do that with this one because it was cut a little shorter than preferred.
