High quality mid-weight active top!
This is a great quality mid-weight top for the active individual! I wore this on a windy winter coastal run and it kept me very warm and even had some wind protection because it's so well knit. Right from the get-go, it felt like this was high-quality just from the fabric... it's soft/smooth and has a good weight to it. I have trouble with some athletic or outerwear having slightly-too-short sleeves, but the sleeves on this were great, even being a tad bit long, since they have thumb holes (another plus!). My only qualm was that it fits a bit on the looser side, but it seems that this is more of a pullover than a baselayer by category. If you prefer a tight fit, you may want to size down. Given this, this might be ideal as something that's in between a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, especially if you are someone who runs on the warmer side for winter walks or runs! On a windy ~40 degree day, it was perfect. It could also easily serve as a casual top for a relaxing winter day inside since it's not "spandex" material like most athletic wear is. Overall, the quality of this shirt really won over, but I recommend being aware of the sizing if you prefer more tight-fit athletic tops.
Nice and warm but a little thick
I’ve worn this top as an undershirt for a full week during my 8-12 hour workdays. I work outside in Arizona so mornings can be 40 degrees while it gets up to 70 degrees midday in winter months. It kept me warm in the morning (with just a hoodie over it) and didn’t cause me to overheat as the sun came out. It was versatile in that regard and could be a great option for someone experiencing multiple climates within a day or fluctuating body temperatures. This is definitely my personal preference, but the thickness is a little too much for me to be comfortable. If you don’t mind the additional bulk, it would be great! It also isn’t as form fitting as my other shirts so I didn’t expect it to keep me as warm, but it held up! (I also really like the thumb slits in the sleeves)
Solid base layer but not the best ever
This was an all round solid base layer. It was very soft and i felt it work well down to 25 degrees or so while cross country skiing. After that compared to other layers i own i didnt feel as comfortable. It ran a little small in the arms and across the shoulders but fit well in the body. I have fairly long arms and the thumb holes weren't too short. It also got smelly after one use compared to other base layers i have gotten. Over all not my favorite base layer ever butbim not mad that i have it.
Cozy, durable, temperature-regulating layer!
I am working as a security agent at a ski resort for the winter, which means I am on a constant rotation between being in- and outside in all sorts of conditions. On an average day, I walk 6-8 miles around the resort so the layers are vital but I can easily break a sweat! I’ve been wearing this thermal crew as a work staple for two weeks now and I am very impressed with both the comfort and performance! The shirt is more of a relaxed women’s fit for a base layer, which I really enjoy! The material is also a bit thicker and feels really durable, with simple design stitching that runs vertically down the arms and sides. What I like the most is that I don’t feel or notice sweating through this top like I do with some of my thinner thermals from different brands, and this one hasn’t carried a smell! On the typical 20-40° day, I find myself comfortable in just this layer and my waterproof outer shell jacket. I am super pleased and happy to have this top as a staple, it’ll be joining me on the slopes and hikes, too!
