Good but could be better
Overall, I give these a C+ for the "premium leggings" category (which I consider leggings $50+). For context, I'm an athletic / petite build - 5'0 short, 23" inseam but with a taller torso than legs. So all those things make my legging needs pretty particular. The good - I appreciate that this comes in a 7/8 length so it's not AS long on me as a regular length would. It still bunches up a bit at the bottom, but that's to be expected with my short inseam. The material is definitely a sweat-wicking, breathable material for working out and doesn't feel fragile. I'd wear these on a hike but nothing where I'll be sliding on granite or anything. The high waist actually hits high with my tall torso. The not so good - the waist doesn't stay put. The material rolls over at the top waist when I bend over, which is quite annoying for working out. I got the blue color, and my underwear shape was definitely showing through at least with the outline.
So soft, so stretchy
These leggings are surprisingly great! When I took them out of the package, I was worried they’d be quite small on me, but they’re incredible stretchy. True to size for me. The material is really comfortable, though thin, and makes for a great base layer for skiing/snowboarding. If your underwear has any sort of stitching or pattern on it, it will show through. Not a problem when I’m out running in the cold with a longer shirt though, or snowpants to cover! However, they are NOT see-through. They pass the squat test. They also don’t bunch up behind the knee like some other leggings I have. All in all, very comfortable, very flattering, and I’d like to try these in more colors!
Would recommend for runners and hikers!
These tights/leggings are great! I wore them for a few runs and they are a veery flexible fabric, but still high quality. They are breathable and don't make me too hot when running. They are the perfect size (Medium) for a 5'4 woman about 160 lbs. I also wore them hiking and they helped protect my legs from branches along the trail. No complaints from me!
So comfy, it feels like I’m not wearing anything!
Love these leggings. Would give a 4.5 star if I could. Only reason not a 5 star is cause the color is not what I was expecting. It’s more a periwinkle than a blue. But it’s still pretty. The fit is a little tight on me and I’m a normal size 8 so I can usually do M or L. That all being said these are SO comfy! It feels like I’m not wearing anything! Since these are a little tight I have only worn them for at home workouts and walks around my neighborhood. They pass the squat test! I am excited to have gotten these and definitely recommend! Maybe size up if you are on the curvy side.
