Well-built and designed but not very compact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the positives. This chair is very well-built and designed. It feels solid and durable. There are several storage options under the right armrest, including a cup holder! The armrests are padded and the rocking motion is smooth. It’s also very easy and intuitive to set up and fold down; I didn’t need to look at the manual when using it for the first time. There’s even a strap for easy carrying. As for the negatives, I don’t have much to say, but I did notice it was a little noisy when rocking. Also, this chair isn’t very compact. It’s still fairly large when folded and quite heavy. It’s not ideal for carrying long distances, although the strap does make it possible.

I will never want or need to buy another chair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing foldable rocker chair. It's a huge upgrade with it's smaller size compared to the previous version seen in the photos. It's frame is very rigid, but light enough my kids can carry it. The storage on the side is firm enough to hold coffee upright. The folding top allows it to fit in the trunk of our car. The open back allows for great air circulation and the higher back is much more comfortable. The rocker shocks aren't too firm and a huge upgrade from the previous version as well. This chairs durability seems like it will last me a lifetime. I'll be buying another one as soon as they're in stock. This is the chair to get for camping, sports events, or anything you need to bring a folding chair and stay comfortable at!

Comfort and capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stowaway rocker has a very nice design that allows for comfort and capacity. Since it arrived a few days ago, my tween has been using it in our living room for homework and TV watching. I would say this rocker has a lot of versatility that surprises me. The seat has a comfortable edge that doesn't pinch your legs. The roominess is so nice and the ample storage that can be switched over to either arm for your comfort is a good thing. My only issue is that I would like for the seat back to go back more so that you could really lean back and rock. The spring action rocking is fantastic on whatever terrain you use it. I do appreciate the higher backrest giving more support. And I find it easy to fold it, but would like it to be more compact and a cover over the legs so no one could get scratched while carrying it. Other than that, this rocker gives you a very nice rocking ability for any event you might need it for. Just keep in mind even carrying on your shoulder it is heavier than most and will encumber the space around you when walking through crowds. I'm giving it five stars because it really is that nice and its weight capacity of 250 lbs makes a great choice. Highly recommend!

Compact, Solid Rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the GCI Outdoor Stowaway Rocker, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my outdoor lounging. The setup can't be any easier… just unfold it, and you’re good to go. There are no complicated parts or assembly required, which is a big plus. The rocking motion is surprisingly smooth, even on uneven or slightly rocky ground, making it perfect for camping, tailgating, or just relaxing in the backyard. It relies on a hydraulic system for the rocking "springs", so there is a slight bit of resistance that requires you to manually rock instead of being able to free rock like traditional rockers. Comfort-wise, it’s great for long periods of sitting, with decent back support and a wide enough seat to not feel cramped. The padded arm pads and side mounted pockets and drink holder are perfect additions. It also folds up into a relatively compact size measuring 28" x 24" x 5". My only minor gripe is that it’s a bit heavier than I expected, mostly due to the hydraulics and frame needs, so it’s not ideal for long-distance carrying if you're hiking it to a campsite. But for short distances or to lounge out in the yard, it’s totally manageable. Overall, it’s a solid product for anyone who enjoys a bit of rocking while they relax outdoors!

Unique folding rocker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never seen a portable rocking chair before. This is a comfortable folding chair with unique rockers. It does not rock on an angles bottom, instead has additional bar that push out allowing you and rock back and forth on them. It is very sturdy, I never felt like I was going to tip over while rocking. It folds flat sideways and has a handle and shoulder strap to carry. It is still somewhat larger and heavier than a non-rocking folding chair, but not outrageously so. Very comfortable and convenient to bring to various events.

Portable, easy to set up but somewhat uncomfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the concept and durability of this chair. It seems like it would be pretty convenient and easily portable to travel with, or go camping. I'm not a huge fan of how straight backed it is though. I think of a rocking chair as leaning back a little bit naturally so if you're just sitting in this you have to sit straight up like at a dining table, which makes it somewhat uncomfortable. Also, the print on it is SUPER sticky like the paint is still wet.

Rocking folding chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! We love this chair! It is very nice and durable. My son and husband love the comfort and rocking features of the chair. We will use this a lot for hunting season and sport season. It is very portable and will store easily in our garage or car. I like the pockets and cup holder features. I thought it was a little hard to open and close, but maybe after a few uses it will break in. We love the camo print and are excited to use this!

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice collapsible rocker. It’s lightweight and I like that the color and design is gender neutral. It rocks good and I’m going to love this for get togethers. There is an adjustable cup holder and some pockets to store or hold stuff like your phone which is a plus! I wish it included a bag to put the chair in when traveling.

Comfortable Chair with back support !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the GCI Stowaway Rocker Chair for my honest review. I actually have 3 different versions of the rocker chair and this one has got to be my favorite! The high back support is superb. There’s plenty of pockets for storage and beverages. The rocker is so smooth. No squeaks or grinding noises. The chair folds away easily and compact. I definitely recommend this chair if you’re looking for comfort.

Very cozy for all sizes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This folding chair is VERY cozy! I'm 6' 2 and this chair fits me perfectly. My wife is 5' 9 and it fits her great as well. It folds and unfolds with a simple push or pull with ease. My only complaint so far is the sound the rocking mechanism makes while rocking. My guess is it's just something with this chair and not what all of the other chair would end up doing.
