Incorrect sizing
I ordered a size 8 and the actual size (even though the label said 8) was more like a 4-6. It's a shame because the shorts are really cute.
Not sized correctly
I love the style but they are definitely sized wrong. I bought Royal Robbins pants and shorts - both size 16. The shorts waist is an inch smaller than the pants
Run small
My favorite hiking shorts are Royal Robbins (I had 3 pair), all over 10 years old. Had to replace a pair and these were very similar. Unfortunately, they have two fewer pockets, and they run small. I ordered the same size I'm wearing and had to return and reorder a larger size. They are not a whole lot roomier, but are comfortable, so I'm happy with them.
Looks Great Every Time, Every Place
I’ve been wearing these shorts for years. I have purchased more than a dozen pair in nearly every color (navy, tan and black are my fav). They are perfect for everyday wear, they can take the abuse of backpacking and they can hold their own with a silk blouse for an unexpected dinner at a resort. Wash and air dry. Quick drying for those backpacking trips when you want a fresh pair of shorts in the morning!
Pockets to Hold Everything
These are great shorts to wear either casually or when out for a walk or hike. They are light weight and form-fitting, ALMOST too much though they still do allow some room for movement. They have enough pockets to keep any items you want to take with you organized.
Runs very small
I just got these and love the material, the quality, and the cut. Unfortunately they are way too small. I ordered another pair of pants and they fit great. These shorts felt like they were 2 sizes smaller than the pants despite being the same size.
Just perfectly comfortable
These shorts are absolutely the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned. The waist sits perfectly and the length is spot on. The fabric is soft and more pockets then you could want. Hoping to purchase other colors available.
