Ordered this because I assumed it was a major upgrade to the X-line from Sea to Summit. Same concept, different approach. Not enough improvement to justify a repurchase in my opinion, so I might return it. It is definitely not "ultralight" compared to titanium non-collapsable options, and it is only very slightly lighter than the gen 1 X-pot, X-cup, X-bowl set. Smaller diameter, thicker stack. The problem with the X-pot was that there was no useful handle. You needed two people to cook - one to hold the little plastic ears, and the other to stir. Hard fail for many. The Frontier pot has a robust (heavy) traditional steel handle that also locks the bundled set closed. Big improvement there. The silicone material used in the Frontier line seems more friendly. The X-line material had a chemical smell and would pick up and retain food, soap and beverage tastes. The strainer lid in the X-pot was a nice feature that did not get carried forward, but you can make do without. While the kit is not lightweight, it is compact. There is no way I would carry it long distance, but use cases like motorcycle and canoe camping are good fits. If I didn't already own X-everything, and have such high expectations for the Frontier, I'd give it 4 stars. If the marketing department didn't have the audacity to put the word ultralight in the description, I might go 5. The solid functionality and compactness have merit, especially in those niche applications where size makes more of a difference than weight.

Perfect Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect addition to our camping/hurricane evacuation box. It barely takes up any room, everything folds flat, and fits inside the pot. The pot lid and handle act as a latch to keep it all in place. Cleaning is easy and have not had any stains on the silicone. My only issue was the pot handle is hard to attach. Great product otherwise.

Amazing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely recommend the frontier five piece collapsible set for your camping needs. I wish that I would have had this product for the last 30 years that I've been camping and not just discovered it recently. It takes up very little room makes for easy packing and is great durability for outdoors

Room saver, BPA FREE, great for hikers or campers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still can't believe I got this product. It's the coolest thing I ever seen and used. I thought it would be flimsy but it's not. Very durable and good with heat. Cleaning was easy. But how your able to collapse them and fit them into the pot is very insane. If you are going hiking or camping this is definitely a must have. Now the price ehhh i don't know. It is very pricey but im not sure how long this item would last. I would hope for $180 it will last years but I'm not sure. Other than that if it's just you and a friend camping it comes with 2 bowls nd 2 cups which is awesome. But if you have more to feed you could always buy more bowls ans cups on sea to summit website. I never seen this product brand in stores so it seems to be only exclusive to the website. The items ste made of EU food grade nylon 66 and silicone rubber durability. They also do have a lifetime guarantee. They also won an award in 2023 AUSTRALIAN GOOD DESIGN AWARD GOLD WINNER. Also huge BPA FREE! Really can't go wrong with this product.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are amazing! The time it takes to boil water is half the time on this pot, and the cups hold the heat well. I didn’t have to worry about burning my hands either! Easy to clean, and easy to store and take on the go!

Great for sea kayak trips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always used a titanium or stainless steel set up for expeditions, but this kit’s utility was apparent right away for sea kayaking expeditions. It’s impressive packability is so much easier to cram into small hatches and any small voids. I really appreciate this factor the most. I wondered how it would hold up to my typical backpacking/kayaking stoves. A full, high burn on my usual stove (I use the MSR Pocket Rocket) caused no issues- it was a very quick boil for a full pot, actually, and the blue flame beneath the pot didn’t come anywhere close to the suggested max flame extent. I was kind of surprised that the instruction text on the bottom of the pot was not even affected. When you add in the two plates, two cups, and two bowls included in this kit- and it still packs as small(!)- the total weight is very backpack friendly especially if you are traveling with a partner or group. If I am solo, I would just take a small portion of the kit, and it is very comparable to my titanium gear’s weight (but far more packable.) I honestly wasn’t sure when I first saw this kit that I would swap it out for my metal gear, but testing it out has sold me on it earning a place in my kayak programs. One ask: if they added or sold a snap lid for the bowl, I would love to make it my snack/lunch carrier in my day hatch as a swap for the Tupperware I usually use.

Versatile and well designed camping pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This collapsible one pot cook set is not only well designed but it’s also very versatile. It lays perfectly flat and can easily be stored in a bag or with the rest of your camping equipment. The silicone material is very sturdy and can easily hold whatever you want to cook. Since it’s made of silicone, it makes cleaning a breeze. Highly recommend this product.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this set. I haven’t gotten the chance to use it yet but I’m excited to try it out this summer. The first thing I wanna point out is the portability, they all fold into each other, I love it! Not to mention the colors, they’re gorgeous. The rubber seems fairly easily to clean. Im definitely a fan of this brand now.

Brilliant design

The new Frontier Ultralight Cook set is a brilliant redesign in the Sea to Summit line up. As an alpine climber, I obsess over both weight and space savings and this new cook set checks both boxes. I paired the cook set with a jet boil Mighty Moe and compared it to my "go to" MSR reactor kit with Sea to Summit cup and bowl. The Frontier Ultralight cook set weights in at 20 grams heavier than the MSR however, it provides 2 cups, 2 bowls, and a 2.2 liters pot. It also seems to pack better in a rucksack which is critical when trying to jam everything into a smaller rucksack. The space and weight savings when considering two people, is definitely making this new cook set my "go to" for summer adventures!

Great 2 person cook set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't gotten a chance to take these backpacking yet but they have been handy for shorter car camping trips. I love that they pack down so neatly and all fit in the one pot. They are really light and I'm excited to use them once we start backpacking this year.
