Never going back to buckles
I absolutely love the BOA closure on these boots! If my feet need a little break when I'm walking around in the lodge, I just pop the dial to loosen the tension and lock it back down so I just have to crank it when I'm going back out. The performance on this boot is really predictable, there haven't been too many times where I've overflexed it so it skis like a 130 to me. The style is on point as well, I get so many compliments on the look of these boots and that definitely improves my skiing.
Tried 'em on; definitely in the running...
Hey, #mecstaffer, here - we don't sell these boots at retail in North Vancouver, but I tried 'em on at another shop and loved the BOA wrap and its position on the boots. Killer colorway. Seemed easier to don and doff than most boots that my high instep has problems negotiating. Not in the market for boots at this time; Atomic Hawx Ultras still have miles left in 'em, but will definitely mark for next year. Well done, boot designers!
