I haven't been able to fully break them in yet before taking them on the trail. Generally, I prefer to buy my shoes in person so I can try them on (my EEE feet sometimes need an 8.5, sometimes a 9.0. However, I took a chance and ordered this sight unseen. So far they are promising for the price. The padding is starting off pretty thick. The rubber soles are definitely thick. I'm somewhat anxious about their durability; particularly the toe shield. In my experience, this molded rubber tends to separate sooner than I would like. But we will see.
