Great Pack! Confusing hydration system.
I bought this a few months ago and I love it! The only problem is the hydration system. It really doesn’t make sense. There is a hole in the pack for the tube to feed up to the side of the pack but my Gregory 2L reservoir won’t even come close. I have to loop the tube around to the other side of the pack entirely. It’s like Gregory made the pack without looking at their own reservoir design.
Does not fit wide splitboards in A-Frame carry!
Great bag, nice features. Only thing I would change would be to have wider loops at the bottom strap for splitboard A-Frame carry. Seems like a pretty large oversight by Gregory to not make them a little bit wider. The strap is just barely wide enough to slip the tail of my board in, but can't go over the hardware. I'm on the wide end of most boards so maybe not an issue for all boards (but unless really slim clip hardware probably an issue for most boards). Tail width of 31.9cm for reference. While you can still vertical carry the board off the back of the pack, A-Frame carry is much more comfortable especially if you boots are hanging in bindings
Great fit and great suspension!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 6'2" the large Tarhgee 32 fit great right away and was plenty of suspension for a summer ski trip up to Tuckerman's Ravine on Mt. Washington.
Top choice for tall skiers/riders...or anyone.
Comfortable, bright, holds everything I need. I'm 6'6" and love the long torso on the M/L size, really fits better than any other pack I've tried. I can actually wear the straps where they're meant to be worn and the pack sits right where it needs to on my back. A little bigger than I need for the side/slackcountry that I do, but I bought it to head to Japan and I anticipate it being perfect. Plus it doubles nicely as a carry-on! Also love the back panel access and insulated hydration sleeve in the shoulder strap. They've thought of everything.
Very comfortable; awkward access
I got this 4 months ago, and have used it for several all-day backcountry ski days. It is durable and very comfortable. I am 5-11, and got the Medium. It carries effortlessly, even fully loaded and with a full reservoir. I've carried skis both ways, with no problems. One star off for the following: I bought the Gregory 3L reservoir to go with the pack. The hose is oriented to the left, but runs through the right shoulder strap. This causes the hose to cross diagonally across the main gear compartment, making it difficult to add or remove gear. The helmet retainer is sewn on one side, so it covers only one side of the helmet, while the straps have to span the rest of the helmet to the buckle. It looks very unbalanced, but I didn't lose my helmet
Just about the right size and the right features
The new version really improved a lot and it's finally working for my splitboard. I liked my friend's old version Targhee 32, seemed very well built and stylish. However my splitboard is too wide to fit in the side loops and the diagonal carry can easily scratch the front since there's so protection. Luckily the new version here fixed all the problems. I had my shovel, prob, vert snowshoes, helmet skin, jacket, goggle, gloves, water bottles and snacks in there and there are still plenty of spaces.

Not great for short torsos
This product seems well made and durable, like it can carry weight well, and organize gear with efficiency. But, with a 16” torso, a size small is still way too long and just into my butt and the straps extend well above my shoulders… no the fit I want for climbing or skiing.
Pretty great!
First, its an amazing pack with room for avy gear and anything needed for a good day out. I personally own the 45L version but my buddy has the 32L. WIith the 45L, its easy to fit gogles and hats in the top and still has room for some rope or some fairly large item. Only problem is that it would be nicer if the body of the bag was made with tougher material, like 400D , but since its mainly a winter pack, it is totally fine as long as you don't impale it on an ice sickle.

I love this pack
We have 2 of these packs for back country day trips and have been very satisfied with each of them. The dedicated tool compartment is organized and easy to access(have not needed to access in an emergency situation, but I feel confident through practice this will be an asset if an event happens). The goggle pocket is huge-great feature. The helmet hammock is nice and easy to use. Overall the pack is well made, durable, and engineered for back country skiing.
My B/C bag for the Whites of NH
Great bag, lots of great features. I've used this many times on Mt. Washington and surrounding areas of NH. I know I could go smaller, but I tend to overpack a bit in a "prepare for the worst" mindset and I love the back access panel. The google pouch is a bit small but it fits mine snuggly. The emergency access section is easy to get and well organized. I stays snug on my back and bears weight extremely effectively.
