LOVE IT!! But base larger than 42oz yeti
Purchased one for myself and another for my husband. We love them even better than our 42 oz yeti EXCEPT they don't fit as snugly in the cupholder of our golf cart. Base is just slightly larger than the yeti. That being said, with the Stanley the icewater stays cold equal to or better than the other. The handle is much more comfortable and we LOVE the flip straw! HIGHLY recommend!!!
Beautiful, but . . .
I love how beautiful my new tumbler is, but after washing it one time (yes, in the dishwasher; yes, it IS dishwasher safe!) it now has a very large faded spot next to the Stanley logo. I paid a lot of money to have this tumbler personalized only to have it ruined before I could even have a chance to use it! It is clearly written on the bottom of the tumbler that it is dishwasher safe! I put it in the middle rack and washed as usual, so nothing different about the wash routine. If it is truly dishwasher safe, then I don't believe this should have happened. Extremely disappointed!
Absolutely leakproof and perfect!
Absolutely perfect!! I’ve been waiting for the quencher to come out with a leak/spill proof option for forever and this one is perfect! I have tested it over and over, no spills! The straw is easy to suck through, unlike other spill proof options I’ve tried. The only small complaint is it is extremely hard to open once the straw is closed. Someone with poor dexterity would not be able to open this, as I struggle sometimes myself. However I know that helps keep it sealed so I’m ok with it. I will never go back to the straw quenchers again!! Also, the lids fit the others so it’s a win win, I can still use my old cups!
Best One Yet!
I purchased the Antique Pink and the Celadon when they were first released...I absolutely love these new cups! I guess the cups are not really new but the spill proof lids I absolutely love! Not only do I love the Stanley's for the fact that I don't have to fill my cup up with ice for 2 or 3 days at a time which saves my ice maker! But I love them because I can fill it up in the am and not have to refill till night. But these new lids and straws that are leak proof, they work they really work! I can't tell you the amount of times I have knocked over my cup and not spilled an ounce of liquid! I just wish there were more colors and designs with these lids or that you could purchase the lids separately to match the other 20 Stanley's that I already have! But these will be the ones I purchase from here on out!
Leak proof!! Not as purple as had hoped.
I got one of these for my birthday and love it so much!! I went back and bought another and convinced my dad to get one as well!! (So that says something) I will say I bought the color cashmere, thinking it would be more purple than it actually is so I was just a little disappointed, but it’s still a super pretty Stanley!
Apparently Not Dishwasher Safe
Looked great out of the box, but after 2x through the dishwasher the coating has started to chip/peel.
The straw is hard to pull up... oh no!
I truly appreciate the color combination in this design; it’s vibrant and aesthetically pleasing. However, I find the struggle of pulling up the straw up quite frustrating. The fit is noticeably tight, making it difficult to get into them comfortably up. I believe there should be improvements in this area to make the straw more flexible and user-friendly for the newer generation, as well as for individuals who are new to this style. It shouldn’t be such a challenging task to put on a pair of shoes.
Passes Texas heat test
I bought this because I love the color. My husband calls it an addiction. I call it practicality. It works wonders when I am at work my water has stayed cold for two 12hr shifts. The water was still cold sitting in my car during the Texas heat! What sorta sorcery is that! It passed the toddler leakage test. My toddler has used that cup for everything other than drinking water. Still no leaks! My son doesn’t care his only response is “6-7”. So I am assuming the cup is meeting approval too.
