Strong sturdy suspenders
Very robust suspenders. These will not be stretching out after a short time. The clips are robust as well.
Well Made, but Clasps are Too Thick
These are well made suspenders. But the clasps are so heavy duty that I am returning them because if I used them for my ski pants and fell and landed one of those clasps it could cause an injury. The clasps are thick. They are also very long since they are one size fits all. They are supposed to fit people from 5'3" to 6'8". If you're on the lower end of that range there is a lot of extra strap doubled over when you adjust it. If you are not affected by either of those concerns they would be great suspenders.
Works great so far!
Received these for Christmas to use with some oversized shell pants I picked up at a steep discount. I’ve had them out three times since on Mt. Moriah, Mt. Moosilauke, & Mt. Hale, and I’ve had zero problems with them. So far, so good!
Perfect for hiking trousers
I am 72-yrs-old, 5'8", 165 lbs. (down from a larger pant size). The Jessup suspenders are made with a soft but heavier cloth with the elastic, which makes them more comfortable and a better fit on the shoulders. The 4 points (clips to pants) make an even hold around the waist. For years, I've worn suspenders for office work and physical work, and these are the best suspenders. Though heavier than most suspenders, I can wear them all day without shoulder fatigue.
Good Suspenders
These are good suspenders. Non-tearing clamps have strong hold. Fabric does not stretch to the point of falling off shoulders like others I bought at amazon. Good they don't put their advertising on the outside of the product. I am 5'10" and they fit well.
solid and heavy
As others have stated, these are sturdy suspenders. They are also rather heavy for backpacking (even if you're not an ultralight guy). If weight isn't an issue and you're not allergic to nickel (I didn't realize that was possible), I'd recommend them.
High quaity
Gave them to my dad for his 88th birthday. He has worn suspenders his whole life and has been unhappy with recent poor quality. These are not poor quality. They look sharp, stay attached and have lots of room for adjustments.
