Absolutely LOVE these boots! True to size. VERY comfortable. Also very warm insulation with secure footing in the snow and slush of what has been an excessive northern Michigan winter! My coil style ice cleats fit on the sole no problem. My first ever pair of Merrell's. Zero drawbacks. Zero complaints. I needed something "less" than my tall Sorels but "more" than my tie-up ankle height "work boot" style non-insulated winter boot. These are the perfect "in between" for my needs. Have worn them often so I could give a valid review. I rarely take the time to write a product review but these boots have earned a 5-star rating. I risked my size going out of stock waiting for a sale and it was worth it. The price has gone down another $10 since I ordered. Get yourself a pair now - you won't regret it.
Got these on clearance last year at north 40. Replacement for some Merrell rubber boots that I had that split on the top. I swore that I'd never buy Merrell again. These were such a great deal. I work outside at recess at an elementary school. It can get snowy, slushy, cold. After a few days, im not disappointed. Warm so far, but it has only gotten to about 30. Very comfortable with support for my high arches.
These boots are very comfortable and warm for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking in snow. The toe box has ample room for all my toes. The only problem is that one of the lacing hooks has come out of the boot, making it difficult to tie the laces properly.
I bought these insulated boots (in grey/black not that other ghastly color) to work on horse farms in fall/winter. They have not disappointed. Great grip, my feet are toasty warm allowing me to not need foot warmers, and the high top supports my ankles. I can still climb fences, go up and down hills and walk in all kinds of muck safely in these boots. These boots are also very comfortable. The insert is amazingly comfortable. I like the modern strap ups. I even got compliments on these boots so they’re attractive to look at, which I do admit, also influenced my decision to buy. I took a chance and am glad I did. I highly recommend these boots. They’re worth the cost.
So comfortable and warm in snow and ice! And it feels like I am walking on air. Favorite winter boots ever.
I am 81 years old and broke my ankle on a snow covered slippery driveway. I had this big heavy hospital boot thing to wear. After a couple weeks, I decided I needed a pair of supportive with good traction boots. I searched a lot and decided on these Merrell Moab boots. These are the best investment. I can walk safely on snow without slipping and my doctor suggested wearing these boots in and out of the house for another month as they support my ankle which is on the way to mending. On top of support and traction, my feet keep warm. Great purchase!
I wore this hiking boot, with 1/2 size up, with thick socks to Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Banff. Warm and comfortable for doing a lot of walking and hiking in cold, rain and wind. Did protect the ankles too. I ordered a second pair as backup for my next trip, but I still have the old one. Wish there are brighter color choices.
These replaced a beloved pair of 15 year old hiking boots that I was having trouble admitting had seen their final days... What a difference. These boots were comfortable right out of the box. The first time I wore them I did 10 miles on a frigid day in the Catskills high peaks. No discomfort, no blisters, and my feet stayed perfectly warm. I've worn them in snow and ice, and through shallow streams and they have proven to be reliably waterproof. I generally find boots with ankle support to be very uncomfortable, but these are an exception. I also appreciate that they feel very light.
I bought these about a week ago there's the best decision ever I had knee replacement surgery last winter and wearing these boots have helped me tremendously with my Mobility with being able to walk without a cane for the first time they're so supportive very comfortable lots of cushioning well worth the price
Mine are worn volunteering at the Detroit Zoo. I get between 4- 6 miles a shift. First day was rough, added an orthotic (wear orthotics with all my shoes) and no more issues! My feet feel good, my ankles are supported. Yay!
