Perfect for the PNW…. Office to trail to youth sports
I have the original 2650, but the soles of mine appear identical to soles of newer version. The problem I encountered is the soles are delaminating. On both shoes, that black outer layer is peeling off. Ironic because I switched to Danners when the soles of my Keens did the same thing. A tube of Shoe Goo should accompany every pair of these. Definitely will not buy again.
I've been really happy with these boots. They're lightweight and a nice height on my ankle, plus they're easy to get in and out of. I use them for hikes, plus walks in the often-muddy greenbelt near my home. The plastic bubble on the back heel is funny looking, but that's my only real complaint.
Been wearing these for a few months now, been loving them! Super comfy after breaking them in
The Trail 2650, It’s feels true to size, is comfortable and appears to be well made. My only complaint is the intersoles have no arch support, why shoe companies don’t offer a higher arch intersole, at purchase? I would gladly pay!
In late September/early October my wife and I went to Europe to celebrate her recent retirement. In order to pack light I took a gamble and brought no other shoes or boots but my 2650s and it worked out great. We walked many miles all over London, Paris, Florence and Rome and my feet were happy the entire trip. These Danners are so incredibly light and cushioned I rarely even thought about my feet. Matched with the right thickness sock it was a great combination and one less thing to be concerned about during our trip.
