I went back and forth for a while before actually purchasing this puffer, mainly because of the price (and because I couldn't choose between the colors - they're all amazing)! I ended up ordering the sage, and trying it on for the first time truly was one of the happiest experiences I've had trying on a piece of clothing in a long time. The cut is extremely flattering, fit is perfect, and color is stunning. I wore it on a chilly boat ride this weekend and it definitely kept me warm. I love that you can snap the sleeves to prevent wind from coming up your arms. I'm 5'3 & 120lbs, and the XS was perfect. Packing it up into the back pouch is also pretty easy!
4.5 stars. Usually a S or XS in jackets and glad I went XS it's still big enough to layer under. I wish they made an XXS because when I cinch this up to my preferred crop length there is some extra fabric that bunches around my mid section (I'm 5ft 8 about 120lbs with long arms and torso) so I agree this is not might not be the best for very petite gals unless you want a baggier fit. Dolomite is a nice buttery sand color. Love the stitching pattern that gives a quilted look. Overall I can't wait for cooler weather and to travel with this puffer.
I love this jacket! It has been the best addition for spring. It’s perfect boxy, the sleeve length is great for my longer arms, good pockets, and of course the color is so fun and happy! I can’t wait to use it next ski season as well.
I love it, I wear it often and always get compliments on it. I've worn this skiing, hiking, out to dinners and so on. I have also used the pillow feature on any flights i go on :) many of my friends have them too!
Lightweight, cozy and the cut is super flattering. Also obsessed with the color! I love how the sleeves can be worn loose or snap shut for a tighter fit at the wrists...it's the little details.
I love this puffer!! Perfect cozy layer for fall and winter days. I’ve worn it in very cold weather (15 degrees F) with a thick sweater and it kept me perfectly warm. I'm normally a Small but went with XS because it's quite roomy and the shoulders are wide. If you're looking for a slim fit, this isn't it, but it has a stylish crop and I like that it can easily go over a heavy sweatshirt when I need to layer up. I was looking for a vegan puffer forever and love that this one is made from recycled materials. Highly recommend!
I bought an XS and am 5'4". I love that it keeps me warm in low 50s in the bay area winters - and if needed, I can easily wear sweaters underneath which keeps me warm for low 40s weather. Based on how it looks on the model, it seems it should fit slightly cropped, but for me it hits right at the hip which I actually prefer. The cinch helps pull it up a bit. I've received a few compliments on it already :) If I were to nitpick - the only thing that bugs me a bit is that when I roll the sleeves up, there's a lot of extra fabric that bunches outward and doesn't make it a clean line where it's folded - but that's very minor.
I wanted to update my sizing review for something more detailed. If you plan to not wear layers and are extremely petite you can get away with sizing down. However, I actually think halfdays runs true to size. When trying the puffer and the Pieper together, the XS fit but it felt slight restrictive in the chest. For that reason, I actually am exchanging for my true to size small. The jacket fits true to size with an oversized feel. Since it's oversized anyway, sticking with your regular size will allow for more layering options. I recommend buying both sizes and seeing what you prefer because it ends up being a presence of fit. The peony color is the most accurate color so far.
The perfect lightweight puffer jacket. This is my hiking go-to, but I also see it working for sunny spring skiing days. The fit is definitely oversized, so size down if you’re in between.
I love this puffer, it’s super cute, TTS, and versatile for many temps. I’m 5’10 130 lbs and a small fits well and the arms are not too short a common problem for me. I love it !
