I bought this set in pink for a ski trip to Aspen and it was amazing! The set kept me so warm on the mountain and the grip feature on the top prevented it from not rolling up. I found this outfit to be so flattering I even styled it with a fur coat to wear to apres and to walk around in aspen.
I LOVED my Johnson top I bought in 2021 and I really wanted another in the bright pink color. I have the 2021 Johnson Top in a size Small (I'm 5'0, 115lbs) so I bought the same size in the 2022 Aspen Pink color. There are several differences between the years with the biggest difference being the cut. The seams where the armpits go are more narrow (by about 1 inch) and are very awkward (for my body at least). It really cuts into my armpits and feels uncomfortable. However, the neck is slightly larger than last year's version which makes it easier to get on and the new grip feature on the bottom is nice. I'm going to keep it even though it doesn't fit the best because it's such a beautiful color. It would be fantastic if they fixed the arm situation and also had thumb holes for their 2023 version!
I was so excited for this product. It fits so well and is extremely warm. However, I wore this product one time and it looks like it's falling apart. The threads have come undone everywhere and there is such extreme pilling. It looks like these have been worn for a decade. I'm pretty confused about this as I wore them for two hours and now look ruined. If I could figure out how to ask for a refund I would do so.
Gorgeous and fantastic material! Something for consideration, as the company matures I would recommend looking a bit more at quality control. Shown in the picture is the Johnson top that was delivered to me with this odd additional threading. I cut it and it started to unravel the whole sleeve. It’s a minor fix and sew but I wish I didn’t have to do that for a garment I got straight out of the box.
These are so soft and comfortable on! I really want to love these leggings. Unfortunately, the pair I received had a hole in it - decided to return because, I don't trust a new pair won't rip again. Disappointing for the price :(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Emma soft shell pant in the ankle length fit. It’s perfect for gals on the cusp of regular and ankle. Fits like a glove and easy to move on the slopes. I’m 5’4” and 128 and bought the medium.
The mock neck and tapered waist (which makes tucking it into the pants super easy!) are both a huge win! These keep me warm enough under my ski jacket for a 10-degree day, and below 10 I just pop on a vest to help insulate. I really like these layers for touring because when I sweat they don't get sopping wet! The colors are great, the quality is fire, and I am a very satisfied customer! I immediately ordered a second one after using my first one for a week. Size: Small Height: 5'5' Weight: 130lb Bust: 35in Waist: 26/27in
This is perfecctttt. The fit is amazing. Provides perfect amount of warmth. Colors are to die for. Love a mock neck. Is becoming harder and harder not to purchase every half day item in every color. I ordered both an xs and small and they're pretty similar obviously xs is a little tighter but the major difference is the length. I have a very short torso so xs is good but I could see it being too short for anyone taller. I love having both sizes depending to choose from though.
I bought this top a few weeks ago and so far I have worn it only once to ski in the East coast. I cannot emphasize how warm and cosy these Halfdays inner layers! I never feel cold on the slopes even when I am not actively skiing. The color is also perfect and goes well with almost anything! I can’t wait for more colors to come out! FYI I am usually an XS but I bought the top in S because they ran out of XS for this specific color. I initially thought S would be too small for me (it looked small) but it turned out to be just a little bit bigger than the usual fitted look an XS would have. I think the top is definitely true to size so I would recommend getting your regular size.
I really wanted to like this product, but it didn't work for me. I am a slender 5'2" woman, about a b cup and I'm petite at about 115lbs. This top was so odd, it was almost like I got one that had already been washed and accidentally shrunk. Let's start at the top, the neck hole was difficult to get my head through, and the mock neck style was too tight for this typical turtle neck wearer. The arms were too tight, and they came down too far on the wrist, I personally like to check my apple watch and my heart rate and this wasn't good. There was PLENTY of space for boobs if I had any, I think that would be a plus. The torso length was way too short, I'm all for something cropped but this looked awkward by about 3 inches and wasn't a good idea to ski in. The fabric was less forgiving than I thought Other than that- I really love all the marketing behind this brand and I would probably buy the product again but I am definately reading reviews first.
