I bought these boots at the end of August and have worn them at least 3 times a week since then. In many different conditions, from hiking all day to field work and traversing rough terrain to get to rock outcrops. These boots have zero break in period. They are so comfortable and reliable, I’ve worn them with a variety of different socks from thin to a thicker fabric now that it’s a little cooler. Honestly they still look like new, I have an old pair of oboz boots and these fit better and offer similar support. I would say they are true to size, my shoe size varies so much between different brands (vans, doc martens, new balance, nike, oboz etc) I could be a 5.5-6.5 depending on those brands, I decided to go with my most reliable fit which is in sneakers where I’m usually a 6.5 and it was perfect. Plus the colorway is so cute! I really want to get a pair of the full leather Danner’s but until that time comes these are a great option!

I bought these as a first pair of hiking boots, and I was not disappointed. These were comfortable from the beginning and didn’t need any time to “break in”. I hiked in these boots on the first wear and all day after. It’s also worth mentioning I purchased these in my normal shoe size, although I was worried about my thick socks making them small, but I don’t foresee this being a problem. I’m very happy with this purchase and hope they last a long time
