REI brand stuff sacks
Great light weight bags that are water resistant. Water beaded off the bags. As good as the other expensive brands but cheaper and REIs brand is now more environmentally friendly!! Which I love. I’m an avid outdoor person, hunting/fishing, backpacking, and these are great bags for the price.
Nice to have
Not totally waterproof but a good size range of great sacks for loose clothing or keeping different other collections together (bedding, cooking utilizes, climbing gear, etc.)
Holds lots of stuff
I was pleasantly surprised by how much the large (60L) stuff sack holds. We used them to hold things (clothing, gear, food) for mules to carry to our wilderness campsite. Very sturdy and convenient. The strap in the bottom was helpful.
Durable and reliable
These stuff sacks are indeed durable. Note that the stated volume is for a fully open stuff sack, as the size measurements are to the very edge of the fabric. When fully cinched closed, the capacity is somewhat less. For example, the 30L stuff sack is actually about 10.5" x 18" when closed tight, which is about 26L.
Great durable stuff sack
We bought a REI sleeping pad a few months ago, but the bottom of the bag was torn, so I took the sleeping pad and the bag back to REI. One of the staff recommended this durable stuff sack. I opened the 15 liters and 20 liters, then tried both. The 20 liters sack fits the sleeping pad perfectly. Thank you, REI staff!
Great Stuff Sack
I purchased this Stuff Sack to replace a lost sleeping bag sack and have ended up using it as a carry-all for anything you can imagine. This bag seems to be very durable and it fits an incredible amount of random items. It also manages to fit a single person, mummy shape, sleeping bag very well.
Review of REI Co-Op Durable Stuff Sack
Acquired the REI Co-Op Durable Stuff Sack a couple of months back. Since then, it has been put through its paces; which I'm glad to say, it still holds up. No tears or holes of any kind.
Great investment.
We lost a sleeping bag cinch in Death Valley and this fit the bill to a “T”! Absolutely perfect fit and no water getting in this if cinched properly.
Not fancy, but impressive
The quality on this was nice. Not ultralight, but my functional use is to store a stake hammer for a car camping tent.
