Fingers get colder in them than without them
I expected so much better from these gloves. After a couple days of wearing them in weather in the 20s and 30s, I realized that my fingers were getting cold and damp in the gloves -- when I was just driving or walking, so minimal exertion. The palms were moderately not cold, but if anything my fingers felt colder after I had the gloves on than before I put them on. Regrettably, I'm returning them to the store. By the way, workmanship isn't great either; the seams holding on the wrist trim are failing after a day.
Not waterproof
These are not waterproof by any means. I wore them in the rain for a hike and by the time I finished they felt like they weighed a pound. The temperature was 39 degrees and they also are not very warm. The gloves were still wet when I returned them the following day. Do not buy these if you’re wanting waterproof gloves, these are a complete failure.
Wet and cold
Wore in Norway in November. It was cold, rainy and snowy at times there. Gloves became wet and hard to dry quickly during excursions outside and became freezing to the point of frost-nip. Smart finger worked well. Would not recommend
Look elsewhere for warmth.
Well made but not at all warm. Fit was correct for my large hands except thumbs very long. Too snug to wear with glove liners. Will donate to charity.
Thought they’d be warmer
Wore these gloves in Alaska. They provided average warmth, not great. But the touch-sensitive fingertips did allow for texting without taking the gloves off.
They're good, not great
I like them, but don't love them. I live in Amsterdam and it rains A LOT, plus the temperatures are dropping...I think they do keep out rain pretty well, but definitely don't provide much warmth. I wear these when I bike to work, most of the time its AT LEAST what we call "misting". I don't know how these would hold up in a downpour, but do what I need of them for the most part. Easy purchase, but would wait for a sale.
Disappointed
These gloves are NOT very warm. Walking the dog in 39 degrees had my fingers feeling cold after ten minutes. I couldn’t imagine wearing them in freezing temps. Also, they’re very stiff, not at all comfortable. They were a gift so I’ll keep them. Otherwise they’d be off to Goodwill.
Perfect for Arizona ultra distance running
I used these for hundreds of miles during Cocodona and they were perfect. Totally waterproof, kept my hands warm enough down to 30 degree conditions, hands did not get too clammy. I don't think I could have finished the race without these gloves. Would give 6 stars if I could!
Not as warm as I hoped or needed
These weren't as warm as I had hoped. I would have been better off with mittens. I was looking for something for Iceland and these were recommended to me by an associate at the store. They would be good to about 40 degrees, but not any colder than that
Men's Soundtouch Xtreme All Weather Gloves
I bought these due to the sub-zero weather predicted for the past week. For $64, I feel like they should have been better. They did not feel much warmer than the knit gloves I already had.
