Worst gloves I have ever owned
I am not kidding. These are the worst gloves I have ever owned. Not waterproof AT ALL. Immediately wet and tearing at the seems after hiking just one day!
Disappointed
Not water resistant at all, did not keep the cold out. Returning them immediately.
Do not buy this glove
I bought these gloves while on my PCT thru hike,since they claimed to be “weatherproof” I thought they would be perfect. These gloves are anything but weatherproof. They soaked out within 30 minutes of sleet/rain. My hands were quickly wet and numb. REI and Seirus should be ashamed of this product. These gloves could have put me in a very bad situation if the weather had not cleared out since I was about 2 days from town. Please discontinue this product or at the very least stop advertising this as a “weatherproof” glove.
Dont buy
Stitching came undone almost immediately, going to return them.
Not warm!!
As the other review noted. Provided no more warmth than the $15 gloves I got a Menards. Waste f money. Will be returned.
Find something else
They did not provide any warms and were not wind proof. I may have been better off not wearing them.
Not warm or waterproof as claimed, useless
Wish I read the reviews first. Not waterproof or even resistant. Not warm either. These caused me major issues in the mountains in a blizzard and rain. I trusted the weatherproof and waterproof claim, REI should remove this product. Returned and got refund (REI are great, this manufacturer is terrible). Lives can depend on product performance, stay clear.
the only non-mitts that have kept my hands warm
I’m not sure why my experience is so different from others’, but I’ve tried about 7 different gloves and none could keep my hands as warm as these. The only thing thats comparable is the REI skiing mitts, but those are much larger and limit dexterity. My only issue with these is that the grippy portion included on thumb and index finger are not touchscreen compatible, like at all. With sufficiently warm hands gloves, other fingers seem to work.
My hands are still cold
32 degrees, hands were ice cold within the first 15 minutes of walking my dogs. Absolutely the worst gloves I've ever owned. I would not recommend these gloves. Headed back to REI to return.
Get a different brand
I bought these waterproof gloves for a trip to Iceland as they were light, well insulated and waterproof. Wore them a couple times on the trip during moderate walking and they kept my hand warm and dry. Fast forward to Jan( from Sept trip)- never worn in between. Big snowstorm hits and I get out these gloves. They are shedding literally hundreds of little black pieces( I think it’s the waterproofing) especially from the thumbs. So disappointed! These are going back.
