Puffer with a hood that fits amazingly

This color combo is amazing for starters, very deep pockets, no Packable bag, but I believe this packs away into itself(pocket). It came in time for my trip out of town where it happens to be much colder than where I live. I’m wearing a NorthFace shell underneath, and I’m relatively warmer than I thought. Actually left this coat in the car as I took my rest stops along my journey, this garment is that warm. I love how the hood cradles my head, I don’t think any jacket/coat/puffer’s hood ever fitted that way in any of my other purchases. This hood, feels amazing, blocks the wind. Sleeves are at my wrist, or just past it, and that’s a plus. It’s not too long or too short. This stops right at my waistline, and if I tug it down, it has this stretch like feel to it. I got this Rab puffer at a decent price, had I waited or purchased a lot sooner, I might have gotten it even cheaper, but it is worth the money. It cost me $170 bucks, which is a steal. Trust me, you’ll love it too when you buy this Rab puffer model.

Hood: No toggle adjustments and a tad small
Size M: 6’3”, 185 lbs. , 41” chest, 33” waist, 35” arms: Overall fit is great, especially the arm length; just a little snug at the hips, but a size L would probably be too big everywhere else. I haven't been able to test the cold-weather performance, but it feels like it will do the job well. The only issues are with the hood: 1. The description says “elasticated hood with internal adjustment” but the elastic is not adjustable -only adjustment is the stiff rod in the peak. Since there where no hood toggles in pictures, I was not too surprised by this but thought there would be some form of adjustment. 2. While the pictures show overhelmet use, in practice, the hood is a little too small for a ski helmet. Maybe it will stay on, but it does not cover like the picture on the product page…. TBD

So deluxe! So comfortable ! It fits me perfectly. I just love this jacket 18 oz for a small so that means it's warm.
