Lightweight quality warmth.
Was really interested in trying this piece but thought I'd ultimately return it because of the European zipper ( not a fan). I was wrong. This thing is about as perfect a layering piece as you could want; warm inner fleece is great insulator and breathable, outer fabric is quality built, slides under a shell perfectly. I have been wearing it every day for weeks. So light yet very warm. A bit pricey, but after so many almost great midlayers, this one is a keeper. Highly reccommend.

feels awesome to wear
when I opened this hoody I was amazed how light weight it was. when I put it on I was immediately impressed with the feeling. the outside is soft and smooth and I do worry about snagging it, but no problems so far. Given the light weight I was not expecting it to keep me warm but it has a lovely fleece lining. I have been wearing it over a t-shirt in these autumn conditions and it has done the job. I bought red and love its vibrancy and I may come back and get the blue and maybe one for my brother for xmas

Best midlayer fleece
This is the best midlayer fleece I've ever used. It is significantly more breathable than gridfleece hoodies and is insanely warm.
