Features

  • ActiveStrap technology lets your boots slide in with minimal friction by allowing bindings to open wider and move up automatically when you recline the highback
  • Power-Triangle structure—created by the high-tensile steel cable, asymmetric highback and base section—boosts heel-side response
  • AXIS-Series glass-filled nylon baseplates with rockered corners and off-axis power beams enable natural board flex and efficient energy transfer from edge to edge
  • This glass-filled nylon construction allows a good amount of lateral movement—great for both expressive freestyle riders and less experienced shredders dialing in their turns
  • Baseplates are wider than NX2 and Fuse bindings for stability and easy access, but with balanced power transfer thanks to the asymmetric design and offset cable attachments
  • ExoFrame Fusion one-piece straps hug more of your boots, providing superior comfort over the midfoot; plus, they can't soak up water or freeze like padded straps
  • ExoFrame straps feature 2 ExoSpines over the ankle and toe zones with an injected Fusion strap frame suspended underneath that work together to distribute pressure evenly
  • Patented rear entry system with Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles lets you enjoy rapid closure—just kick it, lock it and drop it
  • LSR buckles give you options to easily get in and out of your bindings—set-it and forget-it SpeedEntry or side entry like a 2-strap—that lock down to your preferred tightness
  • Nylon multidisc fits 4- and 3-hole patterns and channel systems; can be mounted on 2x4, 4x4 and The Channel® bolt patterns
  • 2.5° canted bank bed footbeds

Love these bindings…

I finally got a chance to use these this past weekend and they deliver. I am just getting back into riding after a dozen years off and my rig was OLD. On my 2nd time out earlier this season, my old bindings (15 years) were giving me a lot of issues. My friends who ski also kept getting on me for how long it took to strap in on top of the mountain. So, after a lot of research, I wanted something that was 1) new/an upgrade, and 2) something that wasn’t a step-on/in (I like the feeling of straps, and prefer a tight fit on my boot), but easier/faster to use and get moving. This is definitely it. I was eyeing the Supermatics, but they were expensive for something I couldn’t demo right away, so I went w/these. They were a bit more affordable and a huge upgrade to my 15 year old bindings. They definitely get the job done. It took me a few runs to get used to it, but they do work pretty much as advertised. Again, I like a tight fit, so I do find that at the end of a run I need to loosen the ankle/toe straps before I open the hiback and slip my back foot out, but I don’t need to completely release either straps. Once I get up to the top of the mountain, I can easily slip my foot in the back, secure the hiback, and then tighten the ankle/toe straps with a couple clicks and I’m ready to go. As long as you’re used to being on a board and your balance is good, you can do all of this while standing, which is awesome. I love the colors (go well w/my board) and they have a good amount of flex (but not too much) so, I don’t feel constricted. I highly recommend.
