Great little radios
We got these to use on a cruise when you are outside cell and internet service. You can get easily separated on a ship and be passing by each other a deck apart of on opposite sides of the ship and easily lose your family or spouse. I anticipated there might be some problem communicating through the hull of a metal cruise ship. And there was some. But I found if one of us was outside, we were able to communicate from one end of the ship to the other. And even if both of us were inside, if we were not at totally opposite ends of the ship we were able to communicate. Several times it helped us find each other and get back together without wandering around for hours wondering what the other person was doing. I'm looking forward to using them in a less challenging environment and see how they work. They were very easy for both of us to use. The “call" feature made it easy to connect as well as the “quiet" feature which allowed us to talk to one another without talking loudly - which would've been very distracting in some of the places we were on the ship. So they were a good investment for us and great little phones for a good price.
Easy to use!
Theyre super easy to use and incredibly helpful on the farm! We highly recommend
GXT1000 on Steroids
I've had the GXT1000 for 8 years and have enjoyed it. One thing that has been missing is repeater capability and a nice lithium battery. Well the GXT3000 delivers on that! I've been using this radio for two days and it still has battery life. I love the fact it has USB-C charging so I can charge it like a cell phone. I didnt think I would care for the flashlight until I dropped my keys under my seat. Used the flashlight to find them in a jiffy.
GXT3000...best pair of handhelds out there
The GXT3000 is the best all around pair in my collection of Midland Radios. They’re the most powerful and easy to use and my go to when letting someone borrow a handheld on the trail!
Good battery life
Perfect radio for my crew. The battery lasts all day without having to recharge. They work well inside and outside my shop. Definitely recommending these radios.
Battery life not great.
They work fine except the batteries run down quickly and take a long time to charge. Not really suitable for extended field use without recharge capability
Great Radio!
Finally - a GMRS handheld that hooks up to my repeater and the battery life is amazing! A lifesaver on my farm. And not a bad price for two.
Worth the price
Excellent product. Exceptional range and rechargable batteries w/ station is a huge plus. Well made and great for outdoor activities.
A radio that can g the distance!
I love this radio. It is easy to use and powerful. Great for going the distances!
Battery life lasted
This is a great radio! Charged so quickly and lasted all day for my 7 hour hike.
