Just wore these on a 14 hour hike in the Adirondack Mt’s. Conditions were not wet but stepping in some shallow mud soaked my feet. Feet got wetter all day from some small puddles and more mud. It was pretty miserable having wet feet all day wearing “waterproof” shoes. That said, these hiking boots were otherwise comfortable. I think I need some arch support tho, so may add an insole if I decide to keep these. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on hiking boots. I’ve never had issues with waterproofing with my Sorels or Merrells
I bought these prior to my trip to Shenandoah National Park because I wanted a good pair of waterproof hiking boots for fishing
