The burner is great. But my second time boiling water in the pot its silicone ring silently came loose in the heat and fell down onto the burner, where it started burning. I'd recommend this burner with a different pot.
Am female “older”. Owned this product for several years. Great n not. Great: everything fits into one package; even at altitude, good boil; Easy use Not: relies on the 8oz fuel for packs ability, ya never know amt of fuel left; obtaining fuel possibly dicey; must consider wt of fuel. Must also carry quality pot holders; stove fragile; plastic bowl useless; ditto black webbed carrier; cup gets hot; oversight a must. However, had item for years, am careful; seems to last. Recommend if careful. Nothing perfect.
Very cool beast of a stove that packs down small & the large cooking head allows for the use of many kinds of cookware which is a major plus vs other models require model specific cookware. Lots of research will always lead you back to this product so I tried & it's all true 😎
4 stars because the valve leaks gas when closed. Not really a big deal, but it is a bit annoying. Just means you can’t leave it on very long while unlit. Other than that this thing boils water fast. A nice little kit in my opinion.
Love the stove and the pot, super light. I only bring the stove, pot, and little grabber clamp thing with me to go ultralight. As others have said, the other plastic/silicone is a hazard, not to mention added weight.
2.5 minutes and you have boiling water. Great system for 2 people. Simple easy and does the job. Would change something. The 8 ounce can won’t fit your pocket rocket. The lid sticks out.
It works good but the rubber band they give you to put around the cooking pot is ABSOLUTELY a fire hazard. It always slides down onto the burner… not good dudes.
I'm from Canada and I had burned my plastic bowl and the silicon ring how can I get some new ??? Thanks
And the plastic stand (dish) burned because it is the same color as the set and I forgot to remove it (
there is no seal tape on the packaging, and the Mini LiteLifter pot handle is missing.
