Solid tire overall

I’ve been running 700x50s for nearly 1800 miles and overall I am very happy with these. Plenty of chunky fire roads, single track, and trashy city streets have been thrown at these. With the extra volume, I run these between 18 and 30 psi depending on the route; these are so comfortable and confident across all terrain. Only had a couple punctures that self sealed and a larger one that needed a some dynaplugs. I did end up putting more road than gravel miles on these and the center tread is mostly bald now, which tread life is a common criticism of these, but they’re still going strong and I will probably replace these with another set once they feel too sketchy to ride. Might go with 45s next because of how much road riding I do, and the 50s do feel a tad sluggish on asphalt, but I’m not racing so the comfort might be worth the penalty…

I went from a 43 to a 45 for the gum wall, It looked better! the same grip same rolling resistance. bike is just as fast with the added curb appeal.
