Awesome carry-on
Used x 3wk Europe trip and it had me sold. I love that it opens up like a duffle to maximize space in largest pocket. Valued the laptop space, other zip pockets. Comfy straps, superior water bottle holders. Easily fits below seat even in narrow aisle spot if take water bottle out. Winner for us as it fits everyone in our family. Highly recommend for carry-on.
Fantastic lightweight minimalist travel bag.
I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Europe and Scandinavia for two weeks. It fit the sizer for Icelandair, which is notoriously small (7.8” depth). It easily held everything I needed, and was stylish and durable as well. In an age when travel bags keep rising in price, this is a great value. Highly recommended !
Great Travel Bag - Initial Impression
Seems to be built really well and has nice features. I have 1 trip with it so far and it fits under the seat as a Personal Item (not stuffed). This should be a great carry on (and personal item if you can pack light).
Excellent personal item-sized backpack
Bought two of these as gifts for my parents who travel frequently with only a personal item. They have been fantastic one-bag-travel backpacks; the suitcase-style opening makes it easier to pack than a traditional backpack and they LOVE that the bag maximizes space within the limits of most airlines’ “personal item” requirements (including frontier, which they fly frequently). They are always able to slide them easily into the little metal cages that they use to check size (though I believe the zipper expansion makes it a little too large). They’ve taken these on every kind of trip, including a two week trip to Europe where they used these as their only bag. It certainly takes some creativity in packing, but my mom says she routinely packs a week’s worth of underwear, 1-2 pants, 2-4 shirts, a few socks, a sweater, a small pair of shoes, and all her necessary toiletries as well as a small packable shoulder bag + travel essentials like chargers and wallets. If she wears a coat and bulkier clothes/shoes on the plane, it’s doable for a minimalist traveler! Minor complaints are that the outside pockets aren’t very secure, though this may be fixed on the newer versions. They also say that they wish the straps had a little more padding and/or a hip belt for longer wear, especially as they are in their 60s and often pack these very full. But if you’re looking for a personal item-sized backpack to maximize packing space, this can’t be beat! A little big for my 5’1, 110 lb mom which is to be expected, but otherwise comfortable do all who’ve tried it out.
Great travel pack
Purchased as a gift for daughter for her many travels. She loves the pack, durability, utility and looks. size works perfectly as carryon or even private bag.
Carry-on game changer!
We absolutely love this bag as our personal item (as long as it's not overstuffed, it fits easily under the seat) to bring our toddler's plane snacks, toys, tablet, and other travel essentials along with a smattering of items we want to keep on us instead of checking through. The water bottle holders are fantastic and fit a regular nalgene perfectly. For trips without the toddler, it makes a fantastic one-bag option for light travel. And we're finding that we go to it for non-airplane travel too (taking snacks, raincoats, umbrellas, change of clothes, and subway activities on local rainy-day excursions).
Love the new size, but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new size, but I wish they added a hip belt as this is a great carryon size! The bag is light and can hold a lot but can quickly get heavy. Blue color is the best!!
It’s Okay
It’s pretty basic but it works . I would have preferred additional small pockets and tethering straps on the bottom. A little on the pricey end for what you actually get. I probably would not buy it again.
Superlative pack
This pack is incredible. I routinely fly Icelandair, which is notorious for sizing bags, with a depth limit of 7.8 inches. Most airlines use a 9 inch standard, so I wanted something that would easily fit. This is nearly a perfect bag, as it’s very lightweight and comfortable, easily holding enough for me to do two week trips to Iceland and Scandinavia in winter. If you’re looking for a simple, lightweight but durable bag that can fit in the most notorious carriers overhead bins, stop looking and grab this one.
Fantastic backpack for travel!
This is a great, lightweight, durable and functional travel pack at a good overall price. There is no hip belt, but for the size I don't think it's really needed. The size is great for my 5'4" petite frame, and it can hold enough for a 5 day trip without being too heavy. Good organization for smaller items. You will need to use packing cubes for best organization and to maintain backpack shape. Overall would highly recommend this over several other more expensive travel packs available.
