Great Gaiter!
I'm really digging these gaiters. I've never used gaiters on light hiking boots before, but wanted to try these because we do a lot of hiking where there's loose rock, dust, pebbles, water crossings, scree, etc. I've put a few hundred miles on my new light hikers with these gaiters and they're amazing. I even stepped in a stream that was deeper than expected yesterday and they kept water from getting into my shoes (I would not suggest that these are going to waterproof your shoes and luckily it wasn't deeper than the gaiters). The blue color is fun. My wife and I got matching pairs so we can be "twinsies" for an upcoming trail run. They do show the dirt a bit, so perhaps less practical than the black/gray versions - but where's the fun in that? I'll be wearing these every time I go hiking from here on out.
Great for trail running
Have worn a couple times now for trail running along unmaintained trails. With leggings the elastic around the calf can start to slide down so about every 30 minutes I have to stop and adjust. In really thick vegetation the heel part slid up but that happened rarely. They worked really well in wet weather too, keeping the mud from getting into my running shoes. Overall, great for trail running.
