I LOOOOVE these gaiters. They beautifully keep rocks, snow, dirt, etc, out of my trail runners while running/hiking. They've spent a lot of time in the mountains of Colorado with me, and have also traveled around Europe. They fit perfectly on my Salomon Speedcross'.
I did a shake out hike with them before the CT and they held up well.
I wore these with Topo Mtn Racer 4s and they worked well. I used them daily on the Peaks of the Balkans trek and only got a couple small rocks in my shoes one day (out of ten) while on the descent of a steep mountain going through a river bed. One other day I had issues with one of the zippers getting stuck but I was able to fix it on the go. Overall, I can't recommend these enough.
These are great gaiters with my trail shoes. They fit nice and snug and keep out the rocks!
These survived Hardrock 100 with zero issues. No shoe / sock change, crazy terrain, scree, dust, water crossings. No debris got in. Even the laces on the upper portion of the shoes remained clean. This was my first time running for so long with gaiters and I am amazed!
