bad quality
Has not been in the washing machine yet and the fabric is pulling apart and snagging. It’s very thick and comfortable but the quality is atrocious. For the price I would expect to be able to wear the shirt more than 5 times without it coming apart.
good performance T, but would only buy if on sale
Nice activewear T-shirt, but I’m not sure on the durability, being careful not to put in dryer or to wash on warm… def functional for running. Tends to hug the mid-section a tad too much, in a clingy sorta way, but as a base-layer I really don’t care. Unlikely to wear this as a stand-along T-shirt
Weird fit
The knit makes the shirt very comfortable, but it's a really unusual fit. Sleeves and chest fit as expected, but stomach and waist are much more narrow. The shirt feels very short and clingy. Will be returning.
Weird and painful fit
The elastane in this shirt makes it a great choice as an under-jersey layer for cycling—it’s stretchy and comfortable. However, the fit around the neck is quite awkward and tight, to the point where it feels uncomfortable and even painful on the throat. Definitely something to consider before buying. I've returned it.
Not a good fit
The fit on this is what I would call Asian XL, based on my experience trying to buy clothes in Asia. That is, shoulders and neck actually ok, but way too short and tight around the stomach. I’m 6’3” and 210 lbs. In America and Western Europe, an XL should fit me just fine, but this one was just way too small. I did like the shoulders and neck fit, and the merino gave it a satisfyingly luxurious feel. I was curious how this would hold up to a HIIT workout, but instead it will be returned.
Smartwool tee.
Well made. A bit more synthetic than I like in a wool shirt. But it does mean it has the advantage of being stretchy.
